It is fairly secure when plugged in, and works as advertised. I'm very happy with it!

Bought this because the Surface pro has limited ports. This thing has everything and it works.

Bought this because I thought I needed it to hook up a second screen to my surface pro x - turns out i don’t. So waste of money and now can’t return.

I like my Surface Pro X, but it only has two USB-C ports for connectivity. This device connects simultaneously with both C ports to give me a single USB-C port, (2) USB-A ports, as well as an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, an SD card reader, a micro-SD card reader, AND an audio jack. I wanted the A ports for some legacy devices I have, and the HDMI works to allow showing movies on a larger screen than the Surface itself. The other ports are frosting on the cake. I will probably use the micro-SD port for reading/writing to the card from my phone, which works much better (faster) than using the phone as a USB drive. Sometimes, when traveling, there will be Ethernet available, which I prefer to use instead of Wi-Fi, so that is another plus. Not sure I will ever use the audio port, but it's there. The USB-C port is PD-capable, so that will allow me to use a PD charger with the device connected. This is a great addition to a device that is already pretty capable on its own. Excellent functionality.

My old surface pro died and I had to get a new one. Little did I know that they changed the ports and the new one doesn’t have a USB port so I was unable to use my extra monitor or my wireless keyboard! Thankfully this handy little device plugs into the two USBC ports on the side and gives me MORE than just a USB option. It’s just a simple plug in and you’re ready to go. Made my work life so much easier. 10/10 great product, easy to use, does what you need, zero issues.

Needed a replacement dock and this one did the trick! I don't have any complaints and was able to verify that all the ports and connections worked as advertised on my unit.

But it broke after a year

I just needed a simple dock that'll let me plug in USB-A thumb drives and this does the job. Headphone jack and ethernet also worked. Though the ethernet worked, it is pretty useless since it's only 100M, not a gigabit. If you need a more powerful dock, I'd recommend something else.

En la mayoría de los casos que solamente necesito usar un puerto USB A. Solamente necesitas un conector pequeño USB C USB A.

The device is flimsy when attached and the nic port is stiff and hard to use. You can't use with any large or stiff cables. Also, it doesn't reach the advertised speeds. It's okay but 100Mbps nic and 40MB/s transfer on a microsd card is subpar.

It is a really good product. It works fine and give me some versatility

Works really well and it is very light. Highly recommended. It is slightly loose due to its shape and being lightweight. Not really a problem though. I much prefer it to being tight and hard to plug/unplug.
