It’s plastic, not metal like it may appear in the images but none the less it’s a good value product.

Nice sturdy RC car turntable, however my stand was quite loose and spins very freely, while a friend of mine who has the same stand has a much better, tighter fit. Easy fix with a bit of tape around the aluminium shaft to make it just that little bit tighter. The stand can be taken apart and stored flat, however it doesn't clip together in this form, just sits loosely on top, comes apart when being transported in a bag. It would be better if it was secured together. Overall a pretty good RC car stand, with only minor issues.
