I do not regret reading it
The book discusses in general the writer's approach to trading. He discusses strategies again in general. I could say I am none wiser after reading it. An average trader will know most of the stuff. But, it's always good to be aware of how other traders approach the market

I really enjoyed reading How to Day Trade for a Living. The book is clear, well-structured, and easy to understand, making it great for beginners, while also offering valuable insights for those who already have some experience in day trading. I especially liked the practical examples and the focus on risk management and discipline. A useful and engaging read that I would definitely recommend!

I ordered the 2022 hardcover edition (book1) in May and it got printed in June, fantastic fresh copy. Has 366 pages. Can be read in 3 days, it's a short book, concise, really. A daytrader doesn't need more books than this because same with table tennis backhand topspin, sharpening a knife, playing an instrument, learning to ride a bike, swimming in a pool effortlessly, daytrading is a very practical skill which cannot be learned from reading this best book or its follow-up volume (book2). One such book is enough to get you seated in the driver's ready to start the personal journey, following your own trading style'n strategy, namely the one (or two) which lies within your comfort zone and realm of possibilities. Even if Aziz and Ross Cameron are nothing but aggressive scalpers of morning gappers, hammering the Buy and Sell buttons with their direct-access hotkeys within seconds, trading off of the 1-minute timeframe chart, imho any daytrader with a longer timeframe like 5-minute candles can learn from their techniques. A daytrader only needs a lit. GUIDELINE to hold onto, a simple set of rules to keep in mind, then the rest is practice, practice, practice. This modern book, apart from constituting a beautifully made product in itself, absolutely does its job of setting you up; the rest is upon you. The conciseness of this #1 bestseller is just proof that indeed 'Trading is simple but not easy'. If you feel generous, go ahead and buy the follow-up volume but I can guarantee you that book2 won't change the way you're already trading. My advice: let book1 be the last book you ever read on practical daytrading, then finally put all of your books aside, and dive into the live action. Soon you'll realize that you won't need book1 anymore, nor the buying of book2. Anyway, book1 is the perfect COMPANION for beginning daytraders who already tested the waters a couple of times on their own before and aren't sure if, as beginners in the field, they might have missed some essential aspects in the process. Clearly, chapter 7 is the most valuable one, however it is vague and lacking and should be more expansive; but these shortcomings don't matter in the end because every reader will develop his own edge after reading book1. My other favourite daytrading book is Tyler Bollhorn's The Mindless Investor. It is even more vague but serves as perfect daily reminder on the John before starting my trading day hooray.

I recently read How to Day Trade for a Living by Andrew Aziz, and honestly, it’s one of the best trading books I’ve come across. The author explains everything in a simple and clear way, which makes it perfect for beginners like me. What I liked most is that he doesn’t just talk about making money — he focuses a lot on discipline, risk management, and developing the right mindset. The book also gives step-by-step guidance on how to plan trades, manage losses, and control emotions while trading. After reading it, I feel much more confident about understanding charts and how day trading really works. It’s practical, easy to follow, and very motivating.
