These were HUGE unbroken pellets. They look nothing like the photo in the description. A chick will not be able to swallow them. So disappointed. I even bought 2 bags.

The only brand we like to have for our babies is this one. A very nutrient dense and good quality formula that helps us make sure our babies are healthy! The overall size is great for even day old chicks to eat. Buying in small batches helps with minimal mold issues, so for me the feed is almost always fresh this way. We currently have Polish, Silkie Bantams and Runner ducks in the brooder and I didn’t want to switch feed on them now so fortunately Amazon had the feed available so I immediately purchased!! It isn’t required but I do also add (non-medicated) duckling feed and just mix it up with this one to give to the baby ducks. Only downfall was that I ordered the item on Saturday with guaranteed delivery for Sunday, so I was at a ballgame while hoping the package would be waiting for me when I got home but unfortunately it was delayed until the following day.. While I know this is probably our fault for living way out deep in the holler, USPS does run 7 days a week and usually our Sunday deliveries aren’t an issue.. I would order again and I would recommend to anyone looking for baby chick feed!
