Ho acquistato questo prodotto per il problema del russamento e delle apnee notturne. Tra le due tipologie, ho preferito i dilatatori in silicone morbido (quelli in silicone duro sono troppo fastidiosi da tenere nel naso tutta la notte), anche se bisogna comunque abituarsi un po' alla loro presenza per tutta la notte. Sicuramente migliorano il respiro, lo si avverte subito se inseriti correttamente. Ma non sono risolutivi. O meglio, dipende dalle cause del russamento notturno. Se la causa è essenzialmente localizzata nel tratto nasale sicuramente giovano. Ma se la causa è invece nel tratto succesivo (palato per esempio) ovviamente non servono a nulla, come del resto specificato nelle istruzioni. Nel mio caso, che soffro di entrambe le situazioni, ho tratto un leggero miglioramento, ma non la soluzione del problema. Continuo comunque ad utilizzarli perchè hanno migliorato un po' il mio sonno. Altra nota storta, è che tendono ad uscire parzialmente durante la notte. Ho provato la misura maggiore (io uso la L) ma i dilatatori sono troppo grandi e quindi più fastidiosi. Insomma, tutto è molto soggettivo, e vale la pena provarli, magari c'è chi ne può trarre maggiore giovamento. La spesa è talmente minima che anche se non dovessero invece funzionare, poco male.

But after months of no improvement with the CPAP and introducing these it was the night and day difference everyone talked about. I don't love having to add something else to wear just to sleep but if I hadn't found these I think I would have given up on the cpap. I have reordered multiple times as they wear out and I have recommended them to other people I know especially if they mention not getting much benefit from a CPAP. Or if they mention the nose strips I tell them just get these and they'll never look back. I keep a mason jar in a drawer and when I take it out in the morning toss it in there, then on the weekend I just toss a bit of soap in the jar and shake it up to clean all 6 or 7 at once.
