All I can say is I love this set. Love love love. I don’t have one complaint. I wanted to change my every day stuff to melamine because I got tired of chipping my dishes. These are just beautiful. My only complaint is that there aren’t more matching pieces.

Attractive, high-quality plates. Pleasant to handle, drinking cups are generously sized. Desire for additional color options.

These dishes by Lenox are gorgeous and they were just the thing we were looking for in our set of new household dishes. Literally a week prior to ordering these, my wife was telling me about these nice dishes on the market which aren't ceramic, but they look like they are.. Well, we found them. A couple things to note: these dishes are made of Melamine - which is the new "hotness" when it comes to plastic dishes. It is extremely durable, BPA free, and to look at the dishes - they appear as if they are made from some type of ceramic (almost china like). Very lightweight and beautiful, but also easy to clean (even on a microscopic level). The one drawback (and I've done some research on this) is you can not microwave these dishes - not because they will melt or deform, but because melamine can release toxic chemicals (there is some evidence to show this) but only at temps above 190 degrees F. What that means is, these dishes are not suitable for microwaving (just don't do it)! Great dishes, I really like the included cups as well - perfect for a household with elementary aged kids (almost shatter-proof). 5-stars all day!

I purchased this during a renovation and opening it after the return date. Neither Lenox or Amazon would replace the damaged (completely broken) plate. Too expensive to risk that. Wouldn’t buy from here again unless I know I’ll use it immediately. 👎

When I saw the Lenox name, I was excited to order this 16 piece dinnerware set. I should have Googled "melamine" first though, and I probably wouldn't have ordered it. At this price point I wasn't expecting a dinnerware set that is basically plastic. With that being said, I do like the set. It looks good. It is lightweight which makes storing it in my high cabinets easy. Time will tell, but I'm assuming it's very durable. It's dishwasher safe but not safe to use in a microwave. If you're looking for casual dinnerware this is a very nice set.

We’re quite familiar with the brand, and we had a similar set from years back. It is still holding up, of course the looks are dated, and some pieces disappeared. But it still survived in good shape. This new set for four is almost twice as thick, but not much heavier. It is a pleasure to hold, walk and talk to friends, without worrying that you’ll drop the plate or cup and end up with glass or ceramic pieces all over. We’re also going to take them on camping trips, and I love the different design on the most used plate. This way, people will remember whose plate it is. The cups are big enough for drinks, and the design is perfect for the outdoors. Informal, but elegant. The strength of the material didn’t change. Even if you use it, there are scratch marks, and an accidental drop (I tested!) didn’t damage any of the dinnerware. They kept the formula as it was years back. We’re enjoying.

This is a nice set of dishes that's actually dishwasher safe which is pretty cool since my old melamine set wasn't. There's nothing written on it about being microwave safe so I'm going to avoid using them in my microwave. The pattern is very pretty. I was curious about the Lenox factor so I searched online and found there are several versions of this set; some come with a tray too, but mostly they all look like this one only this doesn't have a tray. It's a nice set and will work great in the summer time. It comes with glasses too so that's cool. Would get again and recommend.

I have been on the fence about melamine dishes. They seem cheap to me. We recently have revamped our patio area and I wanted a set of dishes for eating outside. This is absolutely perfect. They are supposedly unbreakable, but I'll update if my kids eventually break them. These look nice and with the Lenox brand you know they're great quality. I haven't tried them in the dishwasher yet because I really like them and have ruined some things in the dishwasher. These are easy enough to clean. The pattern is fun and matching, but unmatching which is really fun. If you're looking for a quality, beautiful melamine set this is a perfect option!
