Knipex make excellent tools , but yhey are a little bit pricey .

I like these mini bolt croppers, lots. They are truly pocket sized, they are comfortable in the hand and boy, do they pack a punch. I haven't tried cutting a 12.9 M6 bolt yet, but they are just fine cutting wire, cable and a piece of 15mmx3mm copper strip. High tensile fence wire is no problem. I wouldn't complain if they opened a little wider, but they wouldn't be a one handed operation then. They are fine how they are. Thank you Knipex.

As always a great quality and solid product from KNIPEX and delivery was sent out very swiftly from the supplier. If I have one complaint and I’m being very critical is that the main jaw doesn’t open that wide however you have to remember it’s a compact bolt cutter.

A fine tool for cutting wire, nails etc. So far it has cut with ease and there is no damage to the cutting edge. Comfortable in the hand, and compact enough to keep in a small toolbox. If the high quality of these cutters is typical of Knipex, I'll be buying more of their tools.

I have used these sturdy cutters on a variety of materials, but normally use them to cut and trim copper wire of various gauges, without issue. They are comfortable to use, and have good strong jaws. It seemed like a large investment compared to the cheaper Irwin side cutters they replace, but worth the money if you use them daily as I do.

Brilliant small boot cutters

Got these after trying a friends pair , they worked well and was quite impressed with the performance , so bought a slightly bigger pair to cut thicker wire rope that I work with and they are doing a fantastic job so far . Will use these type again if I ever need to replace them .
