There are 25 individual packs containing sterile gauze pieces - of which there are 5 folded pieces in each of 25 packs. Hope that's clear.

The pad absorbs from a wound or protects the skin - it is not sticky. I use them dry with an elasticated bandage to hold in place. You could put an antiseptic cream on if the wound requires but it is not necessary.
