From red to blond!
I loved this product. I had been dying my hair copper for some time now and I wanted to return to my natural color, ash blonde. Since I didn't want to wait for the color to grow out of my hair I decided to try color oops. I've already seen quite a lot of reviews on the product and they kinda went both ways. So before I used color oops I washed my hair with dandruff shampoo for a week because that already gets rid of lot of the red color in your hair. Then I used color oops. It was very liquid and had a nasty smell but after about 25 minutes you could see a lot of difference. My hair is blonde now. It still has a slight red undertone and it isn't my natural color (it more honey or golden blonde now) but it will seem a lot more natural when I let this color grow out of my hair. I'm very pleased about how my hair turned out.

Best thing ever!
Omg! This stuff actually works! It's fantastic. I had a dark red dye on my hair, dyed it twice. Color Oops hot rid of every trace! It doesn't smell that bad as I've read some reviews saying it stinks like rotten eggs but I think it smells more like rotten fruit lol. I really recommend this product! See my before and after photo attached. Any questions, feel free to ask me.

smelly but effective
I had a couple of black dye that I just couldn't make go away. I wanted to do it all by myself cause I always was so disappointed by hair stylists. It worked out perfectly. Now my hair is back to my natural color, a reddish brown. only cons: it smells really bad, I mean really bad. You have to rinse off your hair about half an hour cause it may darken your hair if you don't wash well the cream out. I advice you girls to try it out!

Amazing but be careful
Yes, rinsing for 35mins is needed and the product does what it says. I’m natural brunette and dyed my hair 577cooper(permanent, no ammonia) last time 4 months ago prior Color oops and managed to take it off. Be careful of your clothes and towel you use to cover yourself. I’ve removed black fabric colour from my custom sweater and removed dye from towel while applying. I used shampoo and conditioner shown after, in addition to some leave in, argan oil and my hair was nice and silky.

Almost there
So I dyed my hair dark brown around 3 months ago, it went way too dark but my hair was in too bad condition to try a colour remover or another dye straight away, so for the past three months I've been having therapy on my hair, going to the hairdressers and doing my own at home. The condition of my hair after three months of therapy is amazing, not a strand out of place. So after that last agonising three months I thought I would try colour oops to get that last bit of dye out, it was still very dark and I want to go back to my original and dye it Mahogany red. I ordered the product which was cheap and easy and it arrived smack bang on the day it said it would so, delivery is fantastic, 5 stars easy. I carefully read every review about this and thought the people who didn't work on were idiots and had no idea what they were doing. I read the instructions which are easy and simple, they have all the cautions on there. So I did a small strand test, cut around 30-40 hairs off, mixed the solution, left in a warm covered place. I went back 20 mins later and rinsed the hair off and I could dramatically see a difference in 10 minutes of rinse (bear in mind this was a tiny piece of hair). The hair strand test confirmed that this product was good and legit so it was time to try on my whole head. I mixed the solution, which by the way for anyone who has completely exaggerated the smell, its not that bad, you're not going to die or puke from the smell it doesn't actually smell too bad, it does linger for a while and my cat did run away from the smell but its not overly bad. The solution is very runny so be careful when handling it to get it in straight away or will just run off your hair and drip allover the floor. So after about 5-10 mins of applying it I put on the cap which is included in the kit, made sure I wasn't in a well ventilated place, no blowing air, no cold, my flat had the heating on all day so it was very warm with no air coming through. I timed it to 20 minutes exactly and began the horrific procedure of bending over a bath for the next half hour to rinse. I made sure I followed this bit with as much care as possible as the rinsing is the most important part. So I rinsed for 5 then shampooed, then rinsed for 20, then shampooed then rinsed for 10, my hair didn't really change colour so I rinsed for another 20 mins, so all in all I rinse for one hour exactly shampooing it twice, like the instructions say. I wasn't pleased, it didn't go back to my original colour but it does say on the packaging if you have gone from very light to dark it can come out kind of brassy, it didn't. It went abut half a tone lighter but not light enough for what I wanted nor what it suggests on the packet or instructions so I'm not just being fussy here. I was very disappointed. Luckily I ordered two so I did the whole thing again, which took me another 10 mins to apply, 20 mins to set, 1 hour to rinse. Nothing, it didn't change a thing. My hair is very thin and only shoulder length, I've been dying and changing my hair colour for ten years so I know what I'm doing when it comes to reading simple instructions on paper and following them, a child could do that. Overall, the product itself didn't damage my hair or scalp so I'm lucky in that sense, the delivery was extremely efficient but the result was poor. Before anyone jumps to the conclusions (like I did) of anyone getting it wrong is not doing it correctly, I cannot stress how correct I did do the procedure, I even rinsed for longer as it says on the packet instructions (the longer you rinse, the better the results).

This product is not for dyed blonde hair, please read details carefully. They will not accept returns and this is annoying as it was over £25. I didn't even open the box!!

No way!!! OK I bought this hoping for the best unboxed it got it ready, after seeing the bottle in the liquid I was absolutely like no way. Is this going to work? So I slapped it on my head. Had this floral smell and then a smell of a Septic truck. I’m like OK. Either nothing’s gonna happen. This is going to work or I’m going to lose my hair. At this point, I’m fully committed. I am blow drying my hair right now, and it has lifted three applications of box die that I wanted out of my hair This product completely exceeded any expectation I ever had and then some Wow!!! I want to do this amazing purple, but I ended up doing a brown and then a chocolate brown and then the purple and it just wasn’t working out so now I can do a very light bleach tone it out put the purple on and it’ll be amazing of course I will be giving my hair a hot minute to calm down after all that!! Thank you!!! Fabulous

I recently tried the Color Oops Regular Strength Hair Color Remover (RS100), and I'm thrilled to share my experience with you. My hair journey involved layers upon layers of red hair dye, and I decided it was time for a change. I chose Color Oops to help me with this transformation, and it didn't disappoint. First off, the application process was surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear, and the product was straightforward to use. I appreciated that there was no need for complicated mixing or multiple steps. Now, let's talk about the smell. Hair color removers can be notorious for their strong, unpleasant odors, but Color Oops was tolerable. While it didn't smell like a bouquet of roses (let's be realistic, it's a chemical process), it was much more bearable than I expected. But what truly matters is the result, right? Color Oops worked wonders on my layered red hair. It effectively removed the built-up color, leaving my hair ready for a fresh start. The end result was satisfying and gave me the blank canvas I needed for my next hair color adventure. In conclusion, Color Oops RS100 is a reliable choice if you're looking to remove hair color, even if you've piled on the layers. The application is straightforward, the smell is manageable, and the results are impressive. Give it a try if you're ready for a hair color transformation!

When I was a kid, my mom and I used to use this on my hair when I would get adventurous and die at random colors that she hated and wanted it out it works so good. Takes all the pigmentation out. It takes you back to your natural state sometimes it does come out a little orange, but if you’re planning to diet it right away, it’s amazing because it doesn’t have any ammonia no peroxide no bleach nothing damaging to your hair. If you can tolerate the smell kind of smell smells like a perm. Other than that I have no complaints. My daughter hair was a dark blue almost like a black blue. I put this on her hair and it turned it like almost like the color of a penny it was actually a very pretty color and then we just put a sand blonde on there and toned it out and it turned out fantastic. I give this five stars all the way around. I would use this all day long no questions ask don’t you can dye your hair the same day literally no regrets.
