Place in your tool box or risk loosing it
Functionality: Does exactly what it’s designed to do—performed a smashing job laying my new carpet. Purchase Context: Already owned two, but bought another due to misplacing them—not the tools fault, as it doesn’t “grow legs” and walk away! Urgency: Needed it immediately for a carpet project, and it delivered perfectly. Design and Build: Nice weight, robust construction, and a great rubber grip for comfortable handling. Value: Excellent value for money, built to last a lifetime if you don’t lose it. Suggested Improvement: No fault of the tool, but using higher-quality Stanley blades would help, as I went through them quickly.

Right tool for the job. Made it easy.
I have never laid carpet properly before, just tacked a quick-fit, cheap, temporary carpet in place. This time I followed the instructions on YouTube videos, bought the correct tools for the job and now proudly have great stair carpet fitted. If you use underlay, you need this.
