Mars Technico 780 C PR5 Leadholder Pencil with Built-in Sharpener, 2 mm, Pack of 5 + 1

I wanted some extra 2mm pencils so I didn’t need to keep changing leads in my Fabre ones. Was going to buy more of my fave green machines but this price won me over and they are brilliant. Been using the Fabre castell items for many years and these are easily as good at a great price. Very pleased.

Good quality pencil for technical drawing. Especially if used with their sharpener

Had many different mechanical pencils as a joiner and I have to say this is by far the best with the special sharpener they make for these you cannot get a finer more accurate point than these.

I love these pencils and I was pleased to see that the have lead grade indications so you know which lead you have in which pencil. However, why Staedtler thought it was a good idea to just scratch them into the metal I have no idea. They are very difficult to see and read. A great idea but not thought through. The leads come with coloured ends to differentiate between grades but unfortunately you can’t then have the sharpener. Pencils themselves are good though and they come in a nice plastic box.

My go to brand for forty years. I use for all of my underdrawings and sketches for pen and ink rendering. The sharpener in the top is useful and the grip is superior to cheaper copies of the design.

These really are superb, nice quality & great value for money for such a well made clutch pencil; very comfortable to hold & work with. They hold many advantages over using a traditional pencil, but make sure you purchase the dedicated Staedtler sharpener - The 780c is backed up by a wide range of superb quality leads of differing grades, the Staedtler leads are a tad expensive but you do get a different colour cap with each different grade of lead to make it easier to identify which lead the pencil is loaded with.

It is possible to produce whatever shaped point you need and if combined with a grade of lead that matches the media used, lines are perfect.

If you're in the market for this type of thing, this is the best there is, bought these for my Grandsons who 'just really needed them' for school and everyone else in their classes think they're terrific too and I managed to keep a couple for myself although many years ago I got the 0.5 version and they just last forever and this company give the best price. Son unas lapiceras maravillosas para minas de 2 milímetros. Un montón de ellas a un precio increíble. Es una buena forma de tener distintos tipo de minas siempre a punto, al principio tenía solo una y era un rollo andar cambiándolas cada vez que necesitaba otra.
