My 10+ year old s-715 hisses, even after installing new s-727 plugs. does the very small o-ring in this s-715 eventually wear out?

Yes, orings can get old and less plyable so they will not seal as well

is this for high pressure propane on an RV tank?

The model number S-715 will be an air style fitting. The maximum pressure will be 300 PSI.

Mine says made in USA on packaging. Nothing listed on the part itself. I like mine, purchased several and all work good. Would buy again.
