Durable, Fun, Easy to Fly
I bought this plane last year. I've wanted once since I was a kid and finally got around to buying one. The gyroscopic stabilizer is great. Beginner is pretty fail proof, intermediate allows you to do some tricks and fly tighter turns while still being forgiving. Expert is hard, but I'm also no pro. The ailerons are a huge factor in making this great. A friend bought one without them and it's much less fun. Something to note, I have flyed a lot and gotten pretty good, but I have crashed mine probably 50 times flying in too small of an area in my backyard, a few at full speed. It held up very well and I was surprised how long it lasted before a crack. After many many head on collisions it did eventually crack the foam in the nose, but was easily repaired with some clear gorilla glue. Still flies great after the repair. If your more careful than me and fly in fields I would not be surprised if it never breaks. The prop is pretty durable and pops off if crashed. This is good since the prop won't break. The downside is it can be easy to loose them. I've debated spray painting one high visibility orange to make it easier to find.

Great Little Plane
Even though this plane is made of styrofoam, it's pretty durable! My dad bought one of these and on his first flight crashed it into a light post, and it didn't take much damage at all. Later on, he found he was losing control of his plane when he flew it, possibly something wrong with the electronics. But he sent it back and got a replacement at no charge! The different flight modes make this much more fun and easy to fly than it would be otherwise. This plane takes off within just a few feet and climbs great. The expert mode is really fun, although I generally only use it when the plane is at least 100 feet in the air. I often lose control in expert mode since I'm not too experienced, so this plane should have crashed dozens of times if it weren't for the different difficulty modes. I simply switch back to beginner mode and it straightens out of its tailspin or nose dive or whatever, which makes me more comfortable trying out complex aerobatics and risky maneuvers (as long as the plane is high enough). Anyway, this is an absolute joy to fly and has really helped break the monotony of quarantine. My dad and I often fly together. We make sure we pair our planes when they're both on the ground, though. Every once in a while, one controller pairs to both planes, so we always make sure our controllers are paired to the correct planes before taking off. I would recommend this plane to anyone!

Lots of Fun
I purchased this for my grandchildren, 9 and 12 years old. They have a lot of fun with it. It is hard for them to control and has suffered multiple hard crashes. The nose cracked after one particularly hard crash (picture). I used super glue to repair. After a few more hard crashes, the nose broke again about half an inch from the first repair. This time I used epoxy and reinforced the repair with a lamination of cloth. While it is difficult for the young ones to control, it has been well worth the money for the experience and fun they have had. Disclaimer: I have no previous experience with RC aircraft. Added Info: After several sessions the 12 y.o. has done loops and vertical stalls, the 9 y.o. is able to make extended flights and land without hard crashes. Excellent beginner aircraft.

Fun easy flying plane.
This is a great flying plane straight out the box. The 6 Axis Gyro makes the plane very stable in fact I rarely take it out of full gryo mode. It will fly slow if that's what you like and quite fast as well. I'm more of a cruise around flyer and get a solid 15 minutes per battery. "See photos" I added the black water based craft paint on the underside just rough the surface with a light sand paper it helps for plane orientation when your flying high. Added popsicle sticks to the landing gear, and yellow to the prop. I mostly hand launch the plane but it will take off on a relatively smooth surface. It's best to fly in little to no wind as in 5 mph or less. I would purchase this plane again it's great fun at a reasonable price.

Great little planes!
Great rc plane for beginner or even someone with a little more skill. Extremely durable, just might need to buy more props. Get several people together flying them is even more fun. We even try to crash them, which we do... put the prop back on and away you go! GREAT PLANES!!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND
Gifted to our teenage son who flies other RC aircraft for Christmas. Blue sky day, no wind, walked to an outdoor soccer field with soft artificial turf surface. Upon one landing attempt it went down and broke the whole fuselage in half and bent the engine shaft. $100 for 15 minutes of fun. This was not a hard crash on a hard surface with a fast moving and heavy RC aircraft. Would not recommend this product.

**EDIT**
**EDIT** After my initial review Volantex tracked out to me and gave me (2) options. They sent me the link for the correct propellers or they said they would send me a full refund. I ordered the propellers from the link they sent. I waited until I received the parts before I updated my review. Propellers are the correct parts. Thank you Volantex for reaching out to me. This was the first RC plane I have ever purchased or flown. I managed to get it up in the air and fly it around several times. I did manage to crash it many times and eventually broke both propellers that it comes with. I then attempted to purchase some more propellers, after ordering 2 different sets that do not fit I went to the Volantexrc website. When you click on this plane then click on the spare parts it tells you “no spare parts available “. So now I have a plane that I spent about $150 and only managed to fly for about 10 minutes that is worthless. I went to a local hobby store and tried there idea, unable to install a universal type prop. Kinda bummed now.

Disposable airplane at a price too high
Likes: + The airplane is very lightweight and takes off very easily, with minimal rolling or release from a friend's hand + The gyro-based beginner, intermediate and advanced modes are a great way to ease into learning to fly it + The disposable and removable propellers are a nice approach for handling rough landings + The engine runs for a reasonable amount of time, about 10-15 minutes per flight Dislikes: - It's very easy to lose when flying at a distance. Impossible to tell which direction it's heading, it's then gone. - The u-turn mode didn't work for us. It needs a better "return to home" feature. - The build quality is very low. Our first purchase lost the lower wing "wire" link at the fuselage. The second purchase began flying erratically and uncontrollably, hovered like a helicopter, then dove deep into a forest. - The landing gear are only useful for takeoffs and possible for landing on smooth concrete. Landing on asphalt, the gear snaps off and scratches the lower nose. Landing on grass, it's a smoother landing without the gear. - The styrofoam build quality is poor. The aileron on our second purchase of this plane was cracked on arrival. - Price/value: I'd pay $40-50 for it again, but it's cheap fragile styrofoam and plastic, not worth over $100. - The Asurion insurance doesn't cover the most frequent scenario: Loss of the plane (due to a gyro, control failure, or disorientation during distant flight)
