This was purchased as a 'stocking filler' gift for our autistic son. I was surprised to find he really liked it, the kit contained everything he needed to learn how to 'lock pick' different types of locks. Now he unlocks everything (after gaining permission) and has become quite proficient. I was worried that it looked quite cheap and plastic, however it is very sturdy and hardwearing.

It comes with detailed instructions and good locks, very simple though, easy to learn and the grips are very light plastic but work better than some others. Comes with lots of tension wrenches which is ideal for picklocking, especially with some other sets coming with only one or two, but this is good for the price i suppose. Good guide and kinda low quality picks but overall good to learn.

For the price this is a great introductory set of lockpicks. The picks themself and reasonably well finished with no apparent burrs on the metal, the handles are a bit meh being made of hard plastic and quite rough on the edges. Can't speak for their durability but so far seem pretty solid. There's a decent variety of tension tools too but I've already slightly bent one through brute stupidity. Now the locks that come with the set are rubbish, with only the padlock working in my set and I doubt it'll last much longer to be brutally honest. If you want to learn lockpicking I'd recommend buying a few cheapo padlocks and taking a look on YouTube for videos by Lock Noob and BosnianBill. Hope this review is helpful.

Fast delivery, good kit for learning with.

I was able to learn how to pick the locks in a day - no thanks to the instructions provided. They are poorly auto-translated and make little to no sense. Sturdiness could be improved as one of the lock pins malfunctioned and will no longer allow me to open it - even with the key. The tools are strong as you need them to be. Worth the buy if you're interested in learning, just watch some videos for instructions instead.

Tools are high quality. Lock is a bit fiddly but haven’t got around to learning properly. Amazing set for a bargain of a price however!

Great for beginners or someone who just wants to have a go without taking anything seriously. Bought for my son, who’s had a lot of fun with it. Built down to a price, the handles will snap if treated too aggressively & the metal is low quality & not well finished. Bearing that in mind, the picks work pretty well & because they’re cheap it isn’t a disaster when you do break them - buy another kit, buy a better kit, or just ditch the idea completely. One thing my son did mention was that his skin reacted to the picks, coming out in an eczema type rash. I’m not sure if it was the metal or the plastic parts, or why they caused the reaction & doesn’t normally react like that. I’d suggest using thin gloves if this is likely to happen to you.

This is a surprisingly well packaged set - two locks (one padlock, one euro) individually cased, and a ziplock case containing the actual picks. All the cases appear to be of good quality, and fit perfectly into the outer package. The locks are the standard ones for kits of this type (easy to pick, and fairly smooth action) but the picks are of higher quality than normal for a starter set - good quality steel and good solid plastic moulding of the handles, with a good grip and no misshapen moulding or flashing. Comes with instructions, but of course you are going to be better served with youtube/securitytube videos. Much better than many sets I have seen at significantly higher prices, and will now be my go-to order for gift sets.

Se nota que no es plástico del chino y parece duradero, es muy bueno para practicar aunque haría falta practicar con otro tipo de cerradura ya que cada una es diferente. Si estás interesado en este tipo de cosas es muy bueno para comenzar.

Las ganzúas son de buen material, resistentes y flexibles, el mango de plástico se ve también bueno. Las instrucciones vienen en inglés, pero más o menos te enteras. El bombín de cerradura en realidad son dos, es más sencillo de abrir que el candado, en mi caso para abrir este último tengo que colocarlo invertido respecto a la imagen que indican en las instrucciones. En definitiva un juego divertido, para saber cómo funcionan las cerraduras. En nuestro caso lo hemos comprado para preparar un Escape Room

Este juego de ganzuas está muy bien muy básico para comenzar y te abro un poco la imaginación de todo lo que puedes hacer con unas ganzuas y siempre recomiendo que tomes esto como algo deportivo o a no ser que quieras ser cerrajero recomiendo mucho este kit no lo recomiendo para robar ni cosas de esas porque aunque sea legal llevarlas, es ilegal usarlas para robar entonces es muy útil a nivel deportivo. Llego muy bien el paquete nuevo y sin estrenar las ganzuas estaban intactas y todo perfecto la palanca de movimiento encajaba perfectamente con las medidas y es bastante bueno luego me hubiera gustado que la funda sea un poco más discreta ya que es un estuche muy grande para tan pocas ganzuas entonces me parece un poco exagerado pero bueno para 12 ganzuas no está mal y lo dicho si quieres aprender el uso de estas para comenzar es un buen kit calidad precio las ganzuas para ser un fragmento metálico tienen un precio bastante adecuado a la calidad el mango parece que se va a desprender del metal pero parece ser que es solo una apariencia y que resiste bien te doy un consejo y es más maña qué fuerza.

Me encanto la satisfacción y diversión que me dio el poder abrir un candado y saber cómo sucede. Te viene un montón de ganzúas de las que nunca llegas a saber para que usar; las instrucciones con las que viene son muy básicas pero suficientes para abrir el candado pero poco mas. El mayor problema que encontré es que el mecanismo del candado es bastante delicado y las piezas parecen encajar muy holgadamente. En el caso de la foto, se desgastó la entrada del candado (donde pones la palanca para hacer presión) en 2-3 días y ahora me resbala fácilmente, no creo que me dure mucho mas.

Igual la culpa no es del producto si no de la habilidad de la usuaria, pero las compre para tratar de abrir un armario del que había perdido la llave y fue imposible, acabe teniendo que forzarlo.
