Q: Can this be used on a table lamp?

It's basically a shade, but I can't see any reason why it couldn't be turned upside down and used as a table lamp shade. You'll get a completely different light spread though, I guess with light accenting upwards rather than downwards which might defeat the whole object.

This light shade looks lovely when up. I have mine on the normal ceiling pendant. Works fine
