Knightsbridge SF2000BC Screwless 10 A 1-Gang 2 Way Switch, Brushed Chrome

I have purchased a fair amount of products in this range. All great but I will say they are harder to install on older houses. I put these in a 40 year old house and the frame of the switch was warped as the wall was not very level after years of redecorating, once slightly warped the face of the switch does not fit properly and leaves gaps. The gap is not the products fault the the ease in which it warped caused it to look less than desirable. I also fitted these to a new build and they worked perfectly and looked great. I would buy again but I will be weary of the flexibility issue.

Quality light switch very easy to install

I installed this single gang screw less faced light switch a few years ago. Looked smart. Works perfectly. Nice click to it. Alas recently i've noticed there is a some sort of lacquer or veneer that's peeling off the surface (see photo). Still looks ok, and works, but now I need to try to get all the lacquer off otherwise it looks like it's dirty. Next time I'll stick to the screw faced ones which aren't suffering from the same deterioration.
