Reliable Thermal Paste with Easy Application
I purchased the ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste to replace older paste during routine CPU maintenance and to improve thermal performance in a desktop system. Intended use: Reapplying thermal compound during CPU cooler installation and general system maintenance. Packaging and contents: The package includes 4 g of MX-6 thermal paste along with ARCTIC MX Cleaner wipes, which is convenient for removing old paste before application. The syringe design allows for controlled dispensing without excess waste. Application experience: MX-6 is easy to apply and spreads evenly under mounting pressure. The consistency is slightly thicker than some pastes, which helps keep it in place during installation without making it difficult to work with. Thermal performance: After installation, CPU temperatures were stable and slightly improved compared to the older paste it replaced. Idle and load temperatures remained consistent during extended use, with no noticeable pump-out or degradation over time. Ease of maintenance: The included cleaner simplifies prep work, and the paste does not harden quickly, making future removal manageable. Limitations: This is not a liquid metal compound, so users seeking maximum possible thermal performance may want to look elsewhere. For most air- and liquid-cooled setups, however, performance is more than sufficient. Overall experience: MX-6 has performed reliably in daily use and provided consistent thermal results without complications during installation. Conclusion: ARCTIC MX-6 is a solid choice for routine CPU or GPU thermal paste replacement, offering easy application, dependable performance, and useful included cleaning materials.

Excellent thermal paste, easy to apply, and comes with extras
This is one of the best thermal pastes I’ve used. Application is smooth and precise with the included applicator, and it spreads evenly. The cooling performance is great — I noticed a drop in CPU temperatures almost immediately. What really impressed me was the included cleaner — very effective at removing old paste cleanly without damaging components. If you’re doing a PC build or upgrade, this kit is a no-brainer. Great value and performance.

Very useful
Cools down my cpu very well. The smell kinda lingers because of the wipes it comes with, but overall very useful. comes with a good amount, but I had trouble spreading it out on the cpu.

Fixed my PC
I recently took the CPU cooling fan off the CPU on my computer, to clean all the dust out of the cooking fins, so I decided to get fresh thermal paste to put it back together. This worked perfectly. The kit had everything needed, it was easy to apply, and now the fan is keeping the CPU temperature down, without having to run at full speed.

Fantastic thermal paste
Easy to apply, spreads evenly, and keeps CPU temps nice and low. I noticed a clear improvement right after reapplying it. The included cleaning wipes are a great bonus and make the job super easy. Reliable performance from a trusted brand!

Excellent performance, but thick and dry at first
I used Arctic MX-6 to repaste the CPU and GPU on my HP Victus gaming laptop, and overall the results were excellent. Before the repaste, my laptop would overheat and even shut down during heavy workloads like Microsoft Flight Simulator. After applying MX-6, temperatures dropped a lot: • CPU temps stayed well below throttling • GPU temps became very stable • No more shutdowns during long gaming sessions One important thing to note: The paste is very thick and the first bit that comes out of the tube can feel dry and stringy. I recommend discarding the first small amount and then using the paste that comes out after — it becomes smooth and works perfectly. Once applied (pea/ball method), it spreads well under pressure and performs as expected. The paste is non-conductive and feels high quality. Overall, great thermal performance, especially for laptops, just be aware of the thick consistency at first.

Excellent.
The thermal paste is quite thick, because of this I used a lot of it thinking I would need it, in any case, it works very well, my temperatures dropped quite a lot and have remained stable. The cleaning wipes are amazing, they simply destroy the old thermal paste, even if it is hard and stuck to the CPU/Cooler. The complaints about the smell are a bit exaggerated if you compare it to how well the product works, in my case the smell only lasted about a day, it is indeed relatively strong but it just smells like cleaning products. I recommend that you dispose of the wipes in a bag that you then close to properly dispose of them and the smell, that little wipe WILL keep the smell for quite some time (people are probably throwing the used wipes in a nearby bin and that's why they can't get rid of the smell)

Works great
I think some people might be overstating the smell issue a bit. Yeah, the cleaning wipes have a definite odor. I don't even think it's that bad of a smell honestly. I threw the wipes away when I was done with them and I couldn't even smell them in the trash the next day. Not a big deal. Anyway, I've bought a couple of (somewhat) inexpensive mini pc's from Topton because I'm ridiculous and I like to tinker. Since I had to open them up anyway (I had bought RAM and SSD's separately rather than buy it bundled), the first thing I did was clean the paste off of the cooler and cpu, and reapply using this Arctic MX6. The cleaning wipes were excellent, one wipe per CPU was enough to completely remove any paste on the cpus and the coolers. Reapplying was equally simple, after the surface had dried from the wipes, put a bead on the CPU and slowly replace the cooler on top. The one with the Ryzen 7 5825U has a couple of fans, and used to idle in the low 40's C, but now seems to hover around 36C at idle. Maxing it out at 100% usage, it took several minutes to heat up to 80C, at which point the power management kicked in and slowed it down to 2.6GHz until it cooled to about 65C. The Ryzen 7 7730U seemed to perform even better, especially considering that's a fanless system that just uses a chunk of copper and a finned aluminum exterior to dissipate heat.
