Excellent quality and a very fair price
This is a high quality knife, I have 2 knives I paid twice this much for and do not meet this level of quality. Comes sharp as a razor right out if the box. Even the sheath is excellent. Very thick leather and sewn with tight stitching. The knife fits perfectly and looks great too. The knife and sheath is a tool that will be handed down to my son and I do not doubt my grandson. I have not used the ferro rod but I think it is a nice touch for an Adventure Knife. What amazes me is the price. After seeing and using this knife I can highly recommend it without reservation. If you're looking for a outdoor camping, hunting, fishing, bushcraft, adventure knife that will last a life time give this one a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great value
This is my second knife from this company. The quality of this knife is surprisingly high again. Ergonomics and durability is what I've paid three times as much for on other knives. The blade is perfectly straight to the human eye, very sharp, and is cut at a perfect angle. The quality & fit of the sheath has a drain hole and buyers will also be impressed as it looks like top grain leather and the stitching is beautiful. The striker and knife fit snugly and this design will float on the belt, and help to prevent broken ribs, in situations like the wearer is leaning on a tree and slipping on dry grass. To top it all off, there are holes for Ranger Assist (Dummy) Cords. Great price and no extra charge for shipping. I plan to buy more and keep as gifts for grandchildren. Gotta go put mink oil on the sheath.

Very nice bushcraft knife for people on a budget.
This is a really nice full tang knife at a very reasonable price. I paid $40 dollars after taxes. The leather sheath alone is worth that. I've had other knives three times this price have leather sheaths that aren't this nice. I also like the fact that it's made in the Ukraine, and not made in China. My only small gripe with it is that the handle isn't quite as wide as I would prefer. But it's totally usable still. I just have to grip it a little harder to get enough purchase. The back of the blade has an extremely sharp ninety degree spine, that's excellent for striking a fero rod. All the metal on the handle is sanded down and smooth to the touch. It also came sharp enough to shave with. So all in all I am very happy with this purchase. And would recommend it to anyone looking for a good bushcraft knife. Especially if you are on a budget. 👍

Good product - finish needs attention
Clean, sharp-looking knife with a straight spine (at a glance), and I’m glad to support a product made in Ukraine. The leather sheath is well-made and the fit is snug. One of the sheath rivets popped off. Not a huge deal for me - I can reattach it with waxed thread, but it shouldn’t happen out of the box. Also, the spine edges were very rough and uncomfortable to handle. A few passes with a honing steel smoothed it out, so it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, still a solid product with great potential - it just needs a bit more QC. I’d buy again.

Good Scandi grind knife at a great price.
I was going to purchase a Beavercraft knife, also made in Ukraine, but after watching a review, I decided to go with the BPS. This is my first knife with a scandi grind. The walnut grip has a nice size and shape to it. The blade seems well made and of good quality, but did need just a bit of finishing along the edge. With a slight honing, it now has a nice edge. The sheath is particularly nice, with thick, beautiful leather. I'm pleased with the purchase, especially for $41.

Great Bushcraft knife
Good Bushcraft knife. Very sharp scandi grind. Nice walnut handle. 1066 steel. This knife is good for wood. Easy to feather wood or baton kindling. Made for Bushcraft. Heavy duty leather sheath with a good belt loop. I was impressed with the quality of this knife for the price. Ferod works well with the 90 degree spine.

Awesome Survival & Field Knife
Update: I polished the scandi-grind to remove the forced patina I had added from there and burned in the outline "ᛞᛖᚠᛁᚨᚾᛏ" (DEFIANT in the Latin alphabet) on one of the handle scales which I will later carve channels in the middle of and inlay with silver. That is to say I am really liking this knife a lot and making it my own. This is my new favorite field knife to actually use and have on me for camping, wilderness hiking, hunting, and that sort of thing. That might not sound like much but I have many, several times more expensive knives that are great, but they're so pretty I hesitate using them. This knife isn't designed as a show piece nor a collector's item. It's a high quality utility knife, straightforward, effective, and simple, sort of like the perfect cross between a Mora and a Green River. There's a very compelling, classic and yet somewhat unique utilitarian design to this knife. The balance is exactly where it should be, right at the top finger groove. The sheath it comes with is of the highest quality, and in most cases better, regardless of price that I have seen come with any production knife. How great the sheath is really can't be overstated. I have large palms and fists but medium length fingers and the knife handle is just the right size for me. Any smaller and it would be a bit too small, but it isn't. Those with extra large hands or long fingers might find it to be on the small side. The wooden scales had a little play but I tightened them up. The bolts are hex 2.5 metric. The closest imperial bit I have in size was a bit loose, so I do recommend using the metric bit, if you can. The knife I received did not come "razor" sharp, but serviceable, but did come with more of a polish on the edge of the scandi-grind. I fairly easily sharpened it further putting a very narrow convex edge on the edge of the edge, roughly one-third of a millimeter across, using one of those V shaped scrapers a little, but primarily a leather strop. Other than the sticky touch of your fingerprints, use a glint of light on the edge to see it, if at least one of your eyes are good. I put a "patina" (oxidization layer) on the knife, blotching on dabs of mustard with a q-tip and letting it dry, to tone down the brightness of the steel, and it took nicely. Afterword I washed, dried, and then coated the whole knife in a grease mixture I made of food grade mineral oil and melted beeswax which forms a paste at room temperature and works great for wood, leather, and metals. I'll probably eventually file off that extra bit of weird chin metal at the top of the finger groove and use the indent below the blade's edge to slowly shape the edge into having a subtle belly paunch. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this knife. It is an absolute steal in cost effectiveness for functionality and practical quality. Thanks, and God bless all peoples and persons in their struggles against oppression and subjugation.

Lovely!
There's a lot I appreciate with this lil knife. To start things off, it's decently sharp out of the box. Can't shave hair with it, but it does slice through paper with ease. I also like the flint rod. I've used better flint but despite its size, the flint produces a fair amount of sparks. i like that the handle is made from walnut. i applied some boiled linseed oil to it to give it a better finish. The sheath is nothing short of amazing. The leather's pretty thick, not too soft or dry. I see lots of people in the reviews complain about rust. Carbon steel will do that if you keep the knife stored inside the sheath, since leather absorbs moisture. To work around this, I cut up a milk jug and made a little insert that slides into the sheath. Now the blade isn't making contact with the leather, thus protecting it from rust 👍If you want to protect the knife further, apply oil to the blade sometimes.
