I bought two DJI Osmo Action Extreme Batteries to keep my OSMO Action 4 running through full-day fishing trips. Each battery works exactly as expected and swaps in smoothly. The charge life is consistent and I can shoot for several hours without worry. They charge quickly with the standard hub and hold power well between outings. Having spares means I can stay focused on filming instead of tracking battery levels. If you film outdoors or travel often, this is a dependable backup worth keeping in your bag.

These batteries are the best on the market so far. They last a long time, and I haven't experienced any issues with charging or camera overheating.

Overpriced and got error "the battery is abnormal, please retry"
The battery life on this camera is not as good as it was claimed to be, so here I am looking to buy a new one that's crazy expensive and proprietary. I delay for nearly a year before I really need it due to losing opportunities because the battery is dying during the adventure. So I spring for the expensive battery and when it arrived I put it into my camera and immediately got the error "the battery is abnormal, please retry" which upon googling I got zero results. DJI should have a white paper documenting this error. I was about to return it, but thought to check for a camera firmware upgrade. Sure enough there was one, so I installed it and the error went away. Did I mention this battery is really expensive?
