I recently used EVO-STIK PVC Pipe Weld for a small plumbing project at home, and I have to say, it really did the job. The adhesive was easy to apply, and I appreciated the precision nozzle that made it simple to get into tight spots.I found that it bonded quickly—within minutes, the pipes felt secure, which was a relief because I was worried about leaks. The instructions were straightforward, so even as a DIY novice, I was able to follow them without any confusion.One thing I did notice was that the smell was a bit strong, but it faded pretty quickly once the adhesive dried. Works well

Makes fitting PVC pipe fittings easy and joints are long lasting. Quick setting and colourless.

Description states this has built-in brush applicator but this isn't the case and main reason for buying this as oppose to another cheaper alternative. Used to attempt to fix motorbike fairing and indicator housing. Doesn't work well on the plastic on indicator but have yet tried on the ABS fairing. My advice is buy a cheaper alternative that is ABS compatible.

.This might answer a question you didn't even know you wanted to ask. To rod an ABS bath drain I had to cut off the outside of the 90deg bend where it entered the wall and though this glue appears to be sold for joints where very much more surface area is available for the glue to work on it seems to have done a perfectly good job of sticking my pipe back together using, in effect, a butt joint. Even though there's no real pressure on the joint, because it's out of sight behind the bath panel I hedged my bets and stuck a layer of Milliput epoxy putty - < £3 - around the joint too and with belt and braces in place I have no fear of a leak. (Not so sure how confident I'll be if I need to pour aggressive drain unblocking chemicals down the pipe again though - not that they have worked up to now, hence the drastic measures.) I'm pretty sure the Pipe Weld alone would have been perfectly adequate though. It works much like Airfix glue used to when I were a lad, melting and welding the two parts into one, and setting quickly, though allowing time to position the parts and, in my case, put a rubber band around them to hold them in place while it set. That said, though it says on Amazon "sets in minutes even under water" the packaging says to "allow a further 8 hours before putting into service".Now, what am I going to do with the 99% of the glue I've got left?

It does not come with an applicator so as I had to put two coats on an 8" split I ruined two small paint brushes buy it seams to jhave done the job.
