Manual for Spiritual Warfare

A great tool for any believer to have in their daily list of books to read. It gives a detailed outline with scriptural basis as to what spiritual warfare consists of. I would say it is written from the Catholic standpoint so inevitably there is some belief solely kept by Catholics in the book. I personally have a NASB bible to hand whilst reading and find there's more power in reading certain passages from this bible translation (widely regarded as one of if not the most literal from original greek/Hebrew/aramaic manuscripts. Im not entirely convinced with regard to praying to Mary for protection from the devil as far I can understand she's either in sheol with all other souls or to those who believe in soul-sleep she is asleep. Overall great tool for combatting evil influences in everyday life. I'd just say there's only one name the Devil can't stand outright and that is Jesus Christ. He is and should remain above all angels/deceased human beings.

Every human being should read this book and every Roman Catholic (dare I say) should have this book in their library. Why? Because, due in large to a complete lack of proper catechesis, we need to be reminded that a fierce war rages for our souls. Whether or not we wish to face the facts, we are at war. And we face a powerful, deadly enemy who is out to destroy us. It s a spiritual war with crucial consequences in our everyday life and its outcome will determine our eternal destiny. If we are to engage the enemy with confidence, then we need this Manual for Spiritual Warfare; this guide for spiritual warriors to help us recognize, resist, and overcome the Devil's attacks. I've just started the RCIA course at my local church and this little book is very helpful.

This book is an excellent aid to the faithful in spiritual warfare. The book covers various topics regarding the subject, including how the demonic works, advice from the Saints, and, most of all, a rather extensive collection of prayers and devotions to God, Our Lady and the Saints, including rosary meditations for spiritual battle. This book is a must have for all serious Catholics in our time. I'm so grateful that I decided to buy this book.

Excellent book, I'm not sure a review of this book will do it any justice than the book itself. Every Christian needs this book sitting at home, it is so well written, addresses the tools you need in confronting spiritual battles, biblical passages and comments from the saints. This book will stand up there amongst catholic classics.

Seriously, this isn't a sarcastic review. I bought this book to understand the frankly baffling perspective of the author, but also it makes an amazing prop for live roleplay or similar. The book has this beautiful fake-leather cover, it's a handbook so can easily be carried about, and there's a silver-effect icon of a sword on the spine! I can't attest to its ability to combat demons, because there aren't any demons in the universe I live in (this one), but if any ever show up I reckon this book's as good a chance as anything else I might have of showing them what for.

Was given this as a present and am so grateful. Not a book to sit and read from cover to cover, more once you have read it, use it as a manual. It's a book to come back know to time and time again. I have now bought the kindle version so it can accompany me wherever I go. I found the stories of the saints and their battles the most helpful, as it made clear to me what the real battle is about and what can be done to overcome. I suspect though that I will use the prayers with increasing frequency. If you are serious about fighting the good fight then this manual is essential.

Very useful book. Helped me to become aware of some of the things in my own life that open doors to the devil, gave good advice and has many beautiful prayers, hymns and quotes from saints. I carry it with me most days. Definitely recommend! :)

La calidad de este libro es increíble, se presenta en cuero -sintético- con cantos de las hojas en plata y redondeadas, y el típico lazo rojo (pero en negro) para marcar las páginas. El libro está aprobado y revisado por sacerdotes católicos que dan el visto bueno a su contenido (nihil obstat, imprimatur), por lo tanto todo católico debe estar tranquilo pues su contenido es fiel al dogma y moral católica. Posee incluso una página inicial donde puedes escribir una dedicación a alguien si es que decides regalarlo. Su contenido principal es proporcionar una serie de herramientas, así como advertencia y conocimientos, necesarios para crear una defensa eficaz contra El Maligno. Hay también un apartado de reflexiones y sentencias de Santos que cualquier fiel encontrará interesante. La única pega es que el libro está escrito enteramente en inglés, eso sí, un inglés sencillo, pero para quien no tenga idea de inglés no podrá sacarle partido a esta obra.

The Book Spiritual warfare is a must. This is a real nice book, every person needs. It's a guide. This book explains how the Devil attacks and what prayers we need to say to immediately get away from temptations that the devil sends us. This book is for all, especially for all the Catholics and Christians. Now I also need to give very good reviews of this seller Millenial Media, they are good, they kept constantly in touch with me till I received the book. Millenial Media is good.
