10 Minutes A Day Spelling Ages 7-11 Key Stage 2 (Made Easy Workbooks) : Vorderman, Carol: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Very well presented - •Reason for purchase was for my son to help with additional learning with his spellings. •Presentation- very well presented which my 8 year old found it easy to follow. •Value for money without doubt good value •Outcome achieved as seen my son grow in confidence with his spelling and an increased eagerness to learn Review: 10 minute spellings - great book! - I don't remember learning how to spell, but obviously I did! Some of the exercises really stop and help you think about how words are spelt, and the 'rules' for different words. My son has really enjoyed these exercises. Yes the timer is a bit of a gimmick, but its given him much encouragement to try and beat the clock.

Good to support school work
We've previously had the maths books in this series so thought I'd try the spelling one. My son doesn't love it as much as the maths one but that may just be because he prefers maths as a subject. The book is well laid out and does seem to be at the correct level for him (year 4) as it is a challenge.

Fab!
Bought this for my son as a wee stocking filler. It’s fantastic. He seems to enjoy it. The timer is great .

Bit too tricky. May also need dictionary on hand
We love the maths version of these and my 8 year old can easily use those independently. This one is harder for independent use and we will try again once we have a children's dictionary on hand to support use. Content seems harder to grasp than the self explanatory maths ones.
