Teng Id515 15 Piece Impact Driver Set - 1/2in Square Drive

Had one like this many years ago and knew it as a 'last resort' tool when faced with really hard set wood screws that won't budge with the usual heat treatment or power impact drivers. Had exactly this situation recently with some front gates that needed refurbing. Wood was absolutely fine but screws resisted all normal means of removal. This impact driver did the job where the power impact driver had failed. In a few cases the screws were so locked in that the heads broke off but was to be expected and so just dug out the rest. Solidly made and good value where all else fails. Won't see much use but excellent where required.

Never had any problems with teng tools ive purchased. This was the same, good all round quality for professional or DIY

It works as expected. but the screw bit is a bit soft material. I think i won't last..

Quality tool for persuading stubborn screws and bolts loose without camming out the slots in their heads. The slotted and crosshead attachments seem to be JIS compatible as the tool was able to comfortably remove screws from the carburettor of a 15 year old Japanese motorcycle. Didn't fancy spending £££ buying replacement screws from the manufacturer. Highly recommended for the maintenance toolbox.

It's really well made but its big failing is that there are no Pozidrive bits. I thought I could use my scredriver bits so that wouldn't be a problem but it turns out that these bits are 5/16 inch - substantially chunkier than standard screwdriver bits. I thought about buying a set of 5/16 bits but they are expensive, on top of the price of the impact driver. So, returned and I'll loook for one with PZ bits. PZ seems to be common these days, more so than PH which are included.

Great bit of kit, works a treat, got out a stubborn screw that I'd been struggling with for days - one tap and it was out.

High quality driver. Used to get a stubborn bolt of a brake caliper. I Recommend u use a rubber mallet if u don't want any marks on the back of the tool. Oh n case is good. Love teng cases

The very nature of an 'IMPACT DRIVER' is that it's supposed to be resilient to a little force. The driver doesn't appear too badly made, but the bits that come with it are a joke (see photo). Each bit broke after a few firm taps; pathetic, and very disappointing, not to mention a waste of a weekend. Unsurprisingly, I would not recommend purchasing this kit, it's completely useless for removing stuck bolts, which after all, is the only reason you'd use a tool like this. This kit is going straight back to where it came from for a refund, but it would have been more satisfying to throw it in the bin.

Perfect for use on break disks! it is just the tool to do the job at a great price. It is heavy and does not feel cheap just make sure you get a big hammer to use it with!

Made in Taiwan from quality steel. Works great right out of the box. The one from Harbor Freight lasted a few months and never really worked well from the start.

Conosco la marca ed è molto buona, il prodotto è buono e solido ma gli inserti in dotazione sono un po’ “debolicci” infatti con uso intenso si piegano/rompono e si fa molta fatica a trovare i ricambi.

tube que quitar unos tornillos de tubo escape moto, ya les daba por perdidos , pero con esta herramienta el problema se soluciono.
