My little boy and I love these straws, he was very impressed with the little bag they came in and the tiny brush to clean them, although a quick soak in vinegar works great. His plastic staws are all chewed, paper ones go soggy and not keen on the stainless steel or glass. These are brilliant in the fact they are sturdy, pleasent to drink out of, environentally friendly and feel so much nicer to use. The only negative would be the opening is quite large so can only fit in half of the drinking cups we currently have (with lids and a hole for the straws ) As however they are so wonderful I will now just shop with this in mind and a staw in my bag. I also love the idea that when they are no longer useful they can then be used in a multitude of ways: in the garden for plants, for art and craft...the list goes on, or just left to decompose...fabulous.

They come in a absoulety lovely package. Everything clean and brand new looking but with a rugged natural design. The straws are all same length but different width sizes. Meaning you can use big straws for your smoothies. Nothing last forever, I haven't had to throw any used ones away yet, as the brush works well to clean. Knowing once a straw has come to the end of its life I can just chuck it in the compost bin is a great feeling.If you got a brain buy these not plastic straws! their better for your health and better for our home.

Ordered this product, to stop using plastic straws, since straws have become a daily kitchen staple for me. I was therefore looking for a long-term solution, both for me and the environment.In general, I like the product, and my only concerns are in regard to the information that I, as a consumer, would like to know, to be more aware.Pros:- the straws are made from bamboo; much better for the environment, since it last long term (haven't tested the duration time yet!)- I appreciate the fact that the manual comes on email, and NOT in printet paper.- There are different sizes of straws, so I can choose the perfect size for my smoothie, and an other for my juice or water. This way, my smoothie don't get stuck in a small straw, and I don't have to drink my juices from a big straw. I would have appreciated some of them longer though, since I tend to drink from glass jars.- I choose this bamboo straw over other bamboo straws, because of the cleaning tool included. Even though the straws are different sizes, the tool can clean it all!Cons:In general, I am missing much more information. Put it in the manual, which is sent to the mail address. That'll be great. Here are some few examples:- Are the bamboo straws good for me? Since I assume that they are much better for human beings to use, than plastic straws, I need information on the bamboo growing process, and how (if) it is fertilized, to the cutting, cleaning, drying - the whole process.- MUCH more transparence. It is hand made from workers in Bali, which is a plus. But how is the working environment for these workers, and how do they benefit? If this information is already available: BRAG about it!- Much more information about the product in the eco-perspective: It's from bamboo, so it's reusable. Great. But is it all ecological? What about the bag, that it comes in? And tell me about the straw cleaning tool? I would like to know much more about this product.So, to sum up:the product is great to use, but I would hope for much more information included, since I am expecting that my choice of straw is helping to save the world!! I need the evidence, and as fare as the information I am giving, I am left with mostly assumptions.All in all, I would appreciate much more informationen, for me to be an aware consumer.

So delighted to find these bamboo straws to use for home made juices and soups.I was looking for an alternative to disposable plastic straws, though silicone, glass and stainless steel options just didn't feel right either - I have daughters aged 2.5 and 4.5 so glass seemed unwise and stainless steel cold and metallic tasting. Silicone also felt likely to stain and absorb any oils in our soups.Then I found these bamboo straws and love them! My girls really enjoy looking at them all and choosing the one they wanted for the juice they'd made. We also talked about where the straws came from and how they were made and why they are better for us and our planet than plastic ones.They are lovely to drink from and the most earthy and earth friendly (and therefore human friendly) straws I could imagine.Thank you so much :-)

Absolutely love these straws, they are of very high quality and the width of the straws vary which means you can choose to have a wider straw for smoothies and a thinner straw for other beverages. I especially like the cleaner which comes with them and ensures they are reusable. I am so glad to have an alternative to plastic straws!

Nice, safe, environmentally-friendly idea, but the sizes vary so much that very few work well a drinking straws. Only one fitted a straw valve, and not very well. Couldn't use.

I bought these to use with cocktails at home which is my husband and I latest craze! You can't have a cocktail without a straw but we are trying really hard to reduce none recyclable plastics in out home as we are disgusted by the effect it is having on wildlife and the environment - so when I spotted these on Amazon I though lets give them a try. My only worry was how they would feel in the mouth compared with a traditional drinking straw but I can honestly say these don't feel strange at all and are totally effective in sucking up the drink. An added bonus is that they look completely cool also! I've cleaned in the dishwasher and in the sink using the brush and they are lasting well. Very Happy.
