5/5 – Outstanding Quality, Perfect for Camper Use!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the Duronic Projector Screen BPS50. I bought this to use in my VW Transporter, and it has absolutely exceeded expectations. Setup was incredibly quick and simple – within minutes I had it attached to the roof of my pop top, and it fit perfectly. The screen feels secure and stable, even when mounted in a vehicle environment. Picture quality is where this screen really shines. It delivers a bright, crisp, and clear image, bringing movies and shows to life, even when using a compact projector. It genuinely enhances the viewing experience – ideal for cosy nights in the van or outdoor movie sessions. The picture supplied was taken on a sunny day in daylight. While there were a few light creases straight out of the box, these disappeared after just a couple of uses, leaving a smooth, professional-looking screen. The build quality feels robust and durable, yet it’s still lightweight and easy to handle. Whether you’re using it in a camper like I am or for home or office use, this screen is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended – top marks for ease of setup, performance, and value for money. If you’re after a reliable projector screen that travels well and looks great in action, the BPS50 won’t disappoint.

Excellent. Great picture. Can hang without drilling.
I'm very happy with this 80" (4:3 aspect) projector screen. I had tried two lightweight sheets and they didn't work well at all, not good enough reflection and difficult to keep smooth. This roll-down screen is obviously more expensive but it is infinitely superior, the picture is bright even in a partially lit room and I could not detect any defects on the surface while watching sports and movies for hours on end. This is despite there being a few horizontal lines across the screen when I first unrolled it (mainly at the bottom you can just about see this in the attached photos) Because I had tried to hang some sheets on the wall previously I had left the hook-and-loop tape stuck to the wall, I wasn't sure if this would be strong enough to hold the 2.4Kg screen but as it turns out it works great, after several days hanging freely the top bar has not moved even 1mm (only the top bar is stuck to the tape). This was a relief as I really didn't want to drill holes in this particular wall. Note that two stick-on hooks are included with the screen but I wouldn't use those on a painted wall (or one with wallpaper), the hook-and-look tape spreads the weight across the whole width of the screen and does not put undue strain on one small area of the wall. My only small criticism is that the screen slightly curls at the edges, you might be able to remove this by rolling it up the opposite way and leaving it overnight but I eventually used hook and loop tape to stick the edges down since I was projecting right to the edge of the screen. A major dilemma I had when ordering the screen was whether to go for 4:3 aspect ratio or the more cinematic 16:9 aspect. Both of these 80" screens would have fit on the small wall I had available. I went for 4:3 in the end for several reasons; 1. Although the 16:9 (80") screen would allow for a bigger display it would also require me to pull the projector back further away from the wall to get the bigger projection area. This makes the picture slightly less bright and also means the projector, which is on a tripod, would be an obstacle behind my work desk in the room. I prefer keeping the projector closer to the wall for both these reasons 2. The 16:9 screen has only 100cm vertical height which means the projector has to be kept at a precise angle to fit, whereas with the 4:3 screen I can move the display up and down easily. (I prefer to have the picture low down for general daytime viewing and then high up for movies especially if someone wants to sit close to the screen in front of the projector) 3. The weight of the 80" 16:9 screen is stated as 4.5kg whereas the 4:3 one is only 2.4kg, I don't understand how there is such a big difference and maybe one of those weights includes the packaging but I did not think the hook-and-loop strip would hold the heavier screen and didn't want to risk it. 4: The 4:3 screen was cheaper (around £40 vs £48) Having said that, I will probably ALSO order the 16:9 (80") screen since I am so pleased with this one and there is another room downstairs where we sometimes screen movies on the wall. This wall is light-cream and gives a decent picture but you can notice the non-smooth texture in certain scenes and this is distracting, the smoothness of the Duronic screen is superior.

Fixings in Amazon advert photos not matching the sent item might create a problem
Good screen at a good price. Rolls down easily (once hung) and rolls back just as easily leaving no creases. If you have space for fixing points 81 inches apart - just a couple of round head screws - then it's an ideal product. However, my intended fixing points were on the top of a wooden frame surrounding a large six-foot wide window. The example pictures in the advert all show the triangle hangers to be fixed to the top of the screen about eighteen inches in from the ends. On the one I received, they were riveted on right at each end - about 80 inches apart. I have had to resort to screwing in eyes to ceiling beams much higher up and then suspending the screen from them using 'S' hooks intended for range cookers and pot hangers. Still works well and satisfys ability to remove after each film night - but just not so neat and straight forward. If product dimensions are changed then adverts should be updated. Five stars for the screen, minus one for the inconvenience of having to adapt the wall hanging.

Good quality, thick screen
This screen is a much better option than the cloth style screens ( which I find rather see-though). It's also a reasonable price, especially if you want something budget friendly. The screen is a good size, thick and can be easily rolled up when not in use. The image quality looks nice and clear, and there's the option to either hang it on a wall or from the ceiling. The screen arrives rolled up and well protected in a large tube. There's a velcro strap enabling the screen to be rolled up if preferred, and as the screen arrives rolled, initially there are some roll lines on the screen. I found that these do drop out once hung up for a while as the weight of the screen help to pull it flat. There's a couple of sticky back hooks included. I personally wouldn't advise using these, as although the screen isn't super heavy, it isn't lightweight either. It really needs to be hung with screws or proper hooks. I used large picture hooks for ours and they work great. Overall I'm really happy with the screen - it fits our wall perfectly and provides a great quality picture.

Creases in screen material
Good screen but arrived with horizontal 'creases' in the screen, visible when rolled out, which I would not expect as the screen is rolled around a circular tube. I'm hoping over time they will disappear but not confident as the material is quite thick.

Acquistato per il camper dove ho montato un proiettore nel letto posteriore per creare un piccolo “angolo cinema”. Perfetto nelle dimensioni e nella definizione delle immagini proiettate .
