Nice chunk of wood
I know its a hoe handle but I didn't purchase it for that use. I actually was looking for a decent wood approx this length 47" and about 1.5" to 2" thick. It didn't matter that this is a bit thicker. Anyway I purchased this wood to make a sturdy walking stick/staff, Something substantial as I'm 16 stone, and as it arrived it holds my weight no problem. Obviously I intend to whittle away at it now to get a nice pattern and round the head piece. But to sum, I'm pretty sure its a great hoe handle, just not what i bought it for.
