Can't give a 5 star as it's started to grow after a few years.
Thai stuff did work well on the tree stump but suddenly this year it's started to sprout again. So it might have just stopped the growth until now or could be just a really persistent tree. Some of the stump has now rotted out but oddly where the growth is it's not rotted. Might dig it out and try another batch.

Worked well, after a couple of months I was able to remove the stump.

It works, but please read this first.
I feel very qualified to review this product and other root/stump removers such as Deep Root ultra (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002UOG9C2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) where I will put a copy of this review also. I've used it (and Deep Root) to kill dozens of tree stumps that were left after I had a major clear out in our large garden. Depending on the type & size of the tree it takes between 4 and 8 weeks for the root to die. Takes a whole year before the stump becomes easy to remove (shrunk) but you can use a stump grinder after the root has died to get rid of most of it. Same for Deep Root. In fact they came in remarkably similar packaging and sizes so earlier this year I took a closer look at their labels.. As you may know, the active ingredient is Glyphosate. Both come as 4 x 100ml sachets of 72g/l of soluble Glyphosate (as a 79/g litre ammonia salt of Glyphosate). Little surprise they gave the same results. So what? Well this turns out to be an extremely expensive way to get your hands on Glyphosate. Since last year, I've been using Gallup 360 (also via Amazon) http://www.amazon.co.uk/GALLUP-360-CONCENTRATE-PROFESSIONAL-CONCENTRATED/dp/B008EQV3MQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1434295502&sr=1-1&keywords=gallup+360 This costs under £30 and you get not 400ml, not 1200ml but 5000ml (5 litres). But wait, there's more... Gallup 360 gets its name from the amount of Glyphosate in the solution - 360g/litre or 5 times that of Deep Root or Resolva, It's the devil's own weedkiller and they advise never using at less than 1:5 dilution in water or (wait for it..) about 72g/litre! So in effect, you get the equivalent of not 5 litres, but 25 litres (25,000ml) of 72g/l Glyphosate when using Gallup. At the present price of £27 for 5l of Gallup, that would mean 400ml of 72g/l Gallup would cost the equivalent of just 43p. I used in work in Marketing for IBM. I take my hat off to the teams at Deep Root & Resolva. Tom Donnelly PS Amazon continues to offer the best customer service on the planet, I can't think of a reason to use anyone else.

Got rid Spiky plant and root in the garden. Amazing
I was a bit sceptical using this in my garden. The previous owners had left a couple of really spiky plant, the amount of times i accidently touched them and got quite deep cuts. I have young children and dogs so they had to go. Tried a few methods but the plants always came back. Tried this and although it took a while the plants finally died. The leaves were not a problem but the roots if left just seemed to germinate and were growing deep under the ground. Dug some of the earth around the roots and put this on to it, after approx 1 week you could see the root was dying. Used two boxes just to be sure and after a year or so it has still now come back. Amazed.

it works!
I cut down a horrid prickly catoniasta that had been allowed to grow into a huge tree by the previous owner. We drilled holes in the stump, which is about 9inches in diameter, poured this in, and so far no signs of growth and that was over a year ago. So I feel I can say IT WORKS!

Easy to use, arrived next day.
So easy to use! I have an old cherry tree stump which just didn’t rot away as the wood is too dense. My side entrance too narrow to enable use of a stump grinder. I drilled big holes in the stump & poured this in, covered it to protect from rain. Fingers crossed- will keep an eye on it.
