Good value as greatly reduced and very good quality and recognised make

Really nice set of chisels and box for them to go in

I bought a set of cheap chisels from one of the diy sheds and they truly were rubbish. They bent like chocolate. Knowing my job was likely to be a one off I bought these to get the job done in the belief that they would be sturdier and should be given the difference in price. Draper have come a long way and the quality of their tools is improving. These are well made and come in a study box with all the sharpening aids. This brings me to my only criticism; I found that I had to sharpen my tools before I could use them. I was only cutting out the rebates for my new door hinges in soft wood door frames but the tools needed honing and weren't really up to the job straight out of the box. However once sharpened they performed well. I would buy these again if needed. More expensive than some you can buy but DON'T buy the cheapies. ...it's a false economy.

Nice set of chisels at reasonable price for a average handyman in my opinion some might disagree because they are to cheap or the wrong name but there you go I'm just a average diy man ,they seem pretty sharp and come with a stone to keep them sharp and feel nice to hold so I'm impressed

Got these as all other chisels on here had customer reviews stating rusty or blunt. These came sharp and usable out of the box, if you want sharper, sharpen them! No rust, unlike other brands,, but if there's rust clean them (they are made of metal :) I do hate the plastic box which is fine if you like that sort of thing, I wish it came in a roll, but what the heck I chucked the box in favour of a roll. Nowt to complain about. Cracking chisel set for DIY/Amature chippy.

Good quality kit

This good quality set of six chisels , honing quide and a sharpening stone is a fantastic buy being on offer at a great price at the moment . The chisels having impact-resistant soft grip handles and are really sharp to start with . The storage box makes sure they are kept secure and clean after use and always ready for when needed . These are tools that will last if properly looked after , I highly recommend !

Decent

Stal bardzo miękka. Przyrząd do ostrzenia nie ma podziałki kąta. Drugi raz bym nie kupił. Ostrze wyszczerbia się nawet na sośnie. Płacilem 66 zł. Według mnie nie warto. Dłuta fabrycznie krzywo naostrzone.

Good quality from a reputable company

Me he llevado una grata sorpresa con estos formones, vienen en su maletín, están bien afilados para ser usados desde el primer momento, además traen una piedra de afilar y un accesorio para sujetar el formón mientras lo afilas. Parecen de calidad. Otra cosa que me sedujo fue el precio, impresionante, todo el maletín por 19,95 euros, solamente un formón cuesta eso y en este caso vienen 6 de distinto tamaño. De verdad es un producto muy recomendable.

Habe mir das Set geholt da der Preis verlockend war und die Qualität des angeben Stahl's der Meißel. Ich wurde bei den Meißeln nicht entäuscht, guter CR-V-Stahl mit solider Grundschärfe (man(n) kann sofort anfangen nachdem auspacken). Habe mit den Meißeln 10 Baumstammringe (30cm Dm.x 30cm hoch) hohl gemacht als Übertopfe für so 25er Plastiktöpfe für den Gartenbereich. Da wurde gestemmt und gebrochen aber die Meißel haben das ohne zu meckern mitgemacht. NIX Verbogen oder Kerben in Schneide, Spiegel immer noch Plan genauso wie die Fase. Auch der Griff hat sich weder gelöst noch gebrochen, lediglich ein paar Schrammen vom Klöppel aber das ist normal. Also wer eine gute Alternative zu den Hochpreisigen sucht ist hier genau richtig. Auch die Schärfvorrichtung die beiligt ist gut zu handhaben. Habe meine Meißel damit Rasiermesserscharf bekommen. Zu dem beiligenden Wetzstein kann ich nur sagen das er Krumm ist und für die Meißel nicht zu gebrauchen ist, Planziehen bzw abrichten wäre den Aufwand nicht wert. Ich nehm ihn zum abziehen für diverse Messer die man so im Garten im gebrauch hat und auch für die Sense. Habe mir hier bei Amazon noch Wasserschleifsteine bestellt (10-17€) je Stein. Produit conforme et de qualité. Les ciseaux sont de bonne qualité avec un affutage presque parfait, j'ai due fignoler le fil. L'acier semble de belle qualité. Les manche offrent une tenue en main parfaite. La mallette est pratique, de qualité correct et donne confiance pour sa longévité. Par contre, je ne laisse pas la pierre dedans, pour éviter un apport d'humidité dans la mallette. Le kit d'affutage est pratique sans être de grande qualité. Il a le mérite d'être présent et utilisable. En conclusion, un excellent rapport qualité/prix (actuellement 34.41€) pour cette ensemble.
