Phone Camera Tripod Mount

Really light, very stable and angle adjustment is great. Very versatile at any height for portrait or landscape. Can fit in your pocket so highly portable and great value for money.

I have joined an online competition group where you enter by posting up a video of yourself doing the set challenge. You need to have your full body from feet to above head in the frame. Putting my mobile phone on the floor leaning against the wall didn't work well. It also holds the phone at an easier to view angle for using my interval timer app for exercise workouts. This is great. It holds the phone secure in cushioned 'jaws' so the phone isn't scratched. I have dropped a star for them being too secure; with my athritic fingers it is a job to get on and off. After a while I stopped taking it off and (serendipity) found it easier to hold the "slippery little sucker" using it as a handle. You can have it portrait or landscape. There are screws/plates to allow you to use it with small video camera. The little legs allow the power cable to be attatched to the phone and not cause it to move or fall over. You can alter the angle of the attatched phone etc by loosening thumbscrews, realigning and tightening to keep in place. The legs can be moved every which way or curled round things. There are directions to the website/youtube for instructions on how to use it. It is good value/quality for money, came quickly, well packed, and easy to open. I am pleased with my purchase. Update: with being in lockdown I am using this for a lot more than the originial thing that I bought it for. We are keeping in touch with family in video chats and it's more comfortable just sitting in front of the phone than holding it up and away so my hand/arm doesn't get tired either. Just a quick adjustment to landscape and we can both sit comfortably side by side on the settee. I am also doing demonstration video blogs and with it I have both hands free, and the 'curly' legs mean I can hang/fix it in any place to get the best shot of what I'm doing. Warning: I thought all three legs swiveled in the top joint but have found out that the back one is fixed. After 15 months of almost daily use and adjustment this leg has broken, but it was my fault. I was so pleased with this wee tripod I am ordering another ... and this time looking at the instructions video! It's a great gadget at a great price.

*Update* After a year of lots of daily use it would no longer hold my phone up. I purchased a different type January 2019 Arrived super fast (thank you amazon prime) and was packaged well. The tripod comes in a slim box with just a little note. Putting it together is so simple! And using it even more so. The clip on your phone has a ball on the end and the stand itself has a socket giving you multiple angle options. My only one concern in the tightened for the socket isn’t a very strong one so not sure how long it will last, but at this price I’ll be buy a back up but who knows if I’ll ever need to use it. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a low cost tripod for your phone

A decent bit of kit for smartphones, but only 3 stars as the phone clamp is not really designed for the Pixel series which have volume buttons in the middle on one side which of course the holder clamps firmly to. Not all is lost as when positioning the phone off centre, the tripod is still quite stable when the legs are appropriately splayed apart, and only really needed for the occasional night/astro photograph.

Value for money.

Poor quality. One leg broke off after minimal use. Phone holder too stiffly sprung, so hard to get any normal size smart phone into the mount (even iPhone 13 Mini is squeezed very very tightly). Legs don't hold their grip. Look elsewhere if you need a phone mount.

First impression: really pleased. Was worried about the pressure on my phone from the grip but with a case I feel far more comfortable as not even touching the screen. Makes videos stable and easy to use, will update over time! Update: lasted about seven months before the leg snapped off and had to be replaced. This tripod wasn’t always the best as it didn’t hold when wrapped around things (e.g branches), but did a decent job for meetings etc even if it was a little small. Survived longer than expected given my heavy handling!
