3Pack Mens Super Thick Wool Warm Socks - Soft Comfort Casual Crew Winter Socks

These socks are great for casual/daily wear. They are not a true heavy weight hiking sock. I was looking for a medium weight, low (just over the ankle) comfortable, soft sock that provided more warmth than a standard athletic or dress sock. These socks fit my requirements perfectly.

I live in a cold climate and these socks are perfect for extra warmth during chilly months while still thin enough to wear with clogs. The quality is great and I would even consider giving these as a gift to that special sock lover in your life. Giftable and worth the money if you keep a pair for yourself because they are so soft and comfortable. The stripes are also so cute! Good color combos as well. Cannot recommend these socks enough.

I initially purchased these socks as a gift intended to fit for men size: 11, but they were too small, so I kept all of them for myself. I wear size:8 shoes & this socks are perfect for me. They fit snug. Honestly, this sock fits women size:7-8 at most, please keep in mind that this socks will shrink more as you wash them, because of the content wool & cashmere. I didn't know it at first, when I bought them. Mine has shrunk a lot, due to washing. Fits a little tighter & shorter, but I still love them, because they are made from a superior blend of fibers & I considered them to be great quality socks. One greatest feature of this sock is that, they keep you really warm, an absolutely perfect companion for cold winter day & night wear. I gave it 5 stars, because they serve me well, they are really warm & breathable. I write this review, in hope to benefit all the people who shopped here at Amazon, as I have benefited from many reviews here at Amazon. Thank you for my wonderful socks!

Have gone through trial and error looking for feet warming socks in FL. These looked perfect online and were truly a Godsend just ahead of a predicted cold front.

Although these socks are thick & cozy, they left a deep dent all around the tops (even though my legs are quite thin). That is very dangerous for circulation, for those who (like me) have diabetes, but I snipped each sock 3x from the top down about 3/4" (to cut thru the elastic), rather than throw them away. Of course they look silly that way, but that doesn't show under slacks or long PJs. They are nice & thick & cozy & nicely stretchy, but I wish they were taller (not even close to calf). Second problem: At first they had a strong chemical smell (possibly from the dyes), but after hand-washing them in hot water that dissipated. Last problem: Must wash out the dye the 1st time, using hot water in sink (water just runs off them - likely for good reason due to 30% wool content, but as soon as I added laundry detergent to the sink of water they absorbed the water and the dye rinsed out pretty fast, as did the smell). I LIKE wearing them due to their somewhat thick cushion & stretchiness, now that I've cut the elastic (that's 18 scissor cuts - 3 in each of the 6 socks/3 pairs). Despite all I've said, they're one of my favorites now to wear with house slippers. Really cozy & clearly thicker than most socks.
