Good but....
...don't expect a standard filled chocolate. The texture of the filling is very similar to the shell and is only mildly fruity, resulting in a seemingly solid chocolate. That having been said, these are delish. I was looking for ethically sourced dark chocolate and this fills the bill. It is more expensive, as expected, but rich enough so a little goes a long way (and I'm not sharing - lol ).

Very yummy
….but not worth the $7 plus that Amazon sells it for. It’s normally less than $5 in the store if you can find them.

Dark, Rich Chocolate with a Creamy Dark Chocolate Center
If you're looking for a smooth, rich, and deliciously dark chocolate bar, you absolutely have to try the TCHO Dark Duo Filled Dark Chocolates. The chocolate is decadent with a rich chocolately flavor. The chocolate is smooth, rich, and just slightly bitter as good dark chocolate should be. I love how the bars have no grittiness or waxiness to them and how clean the flavor is. The chocolates are packaged with three squares per packet, three packets per box, and three boxes per order. While this chocolate is a bit pricier than other brands, it's absolutely worth it for the quality you're getting. Overall, this is a decadent treat that I will definitely be purchasing again.

Was disappointing, chocolate bloomed.
The chocolate has bloomed from excessive heat, cocoa butter has separated looking milky, texture was like layered and the taste was off. I originally had it on Delta Airlines and It liked it so much that I searched and found it on Amazon, but it was disappointing from the company Dark Duo

Just ok
I purchased the TCHO "Lush and Fruity Cacao Truffle Filled Fudgy Dark Chocolate: Dark Duo." It has appeared since the time of my purchase, the title has changed to a toffee oat milk chocolate, but that is not what I purchased or received. The reason I like dark chocolate is because it has so much flavor nuance usually, and since this one was particularly called fruity in the title, that's what I was expecting, those rich red berry fruity notes you often find in a good dark chocolate. But that is not what your medical bills I found with this product. The flavor is very flat and "one note" - dark chocolate. I did not get any fruit flavor notes or hints of berry at all. Also when I purchase a product with truffle in the name, I'm expecting a harder shell with a softer center, and although it does appear there are layers in the photo, you really do not get that in the mouth feel. It just felt like a solid chocolate bar. Overall this was just OK. I'll probably chop up the remaining bars to use in a recipe, they are not what I would prefer to just snack on when I want dark chocolate. The price of six dollars for three very small bars is also extremely high for the quality/flavor.

Complex, creamy, decadent. Not overly sweet
I've tried several different TCHO chocolates and they have all been amazing. This is no exception. It's a blend of 2 different single origins cacaos: Peru + Ghana. But the fact that it is a blend kind of defeats the purpose of being single origin, there is no real way for me to differentiate the two origins in the tasting notes. The ingredients are excellent. It's just (organic): cacao, cane sugar, cocoa butter, coconut oil, lecithin, vanilla. The sweetness is around a 4/10. It says 75% cacao shell, although the filling may be slightly less. It has a somewhat softer filling, not as soft as a truffle but in between truffle and bar texture. Overall - really excellent dark chocolate, with a unique truffle-like texture. I love the ingredients, the sweetness, and the flavor. If you are a chocolate connoisseur, you will enjoy anything from the TCHO line.

I LOVE this chocolate!!!
I love very dark chocolate. Not this biggest fan of fudge, so I was not sure how I was going to like this. However, to me, it does not at all taste like fudge. The texture is more like chocolate all the way through. There is a center that is clearly different than the outer but it is still hard like chocolate. The overall taste is a very smooth dark chocolate. I am a usual Chocolove dark chocolate eater, and I think these taste very similar only a bit better because of the mild creaminess/smoothness. Also, package comes in 3 separate packs that are each 120 calories. I love this because it is easier to portion control! I do highly recommend this chocolate!!! But if you are looking for something truly fudgy, you may be disappointed.

Not quite what I was expecting but still tasty.
I was not familiar with TCHO before getting a chance to review this chocolate bar. From the description I was expecting something very different. Something more along the lines of the Lindt 70% Cocoa Extra Dark Chocolate Truffles in a bar form. Something with a distinct and noticeable outer shell with a equally noticeable center. The TCHO Dark Duo I received was a solid chocolate bar with no different shell and filling that I could taste. But that's not to say I didn't enjoy the chocolate bar. It may have not been what I was expecting but it was still very good. Maybe 80% of the time my philosophy towards dark chocolate is the darker the better and the less sweet the better. But sometimes I'm in the mood for a little bit of sweetness to cut through the bitter. The The TCHO Dark Duo in my opinion has just the right amount of sugar for those occasions and I still suitably dark enough that I'm not too bothered by the sweetness during the other 80% of the time. Let's talk price. Chocolate is expensive, especially if you commit to free trade and climate friendly and all the various things that TCHO does. Which is great! But if you want to maximize bites of chocolate to price this isn't going to be the best choice. This Dark Duo is about $6 and comes with 3 individually wrapped bars with 3 squares each for a total of 2.47 OZ of chocolate. That's about $2 a bar or $0.66 per bite. The aforementioned Lindt Extra Dark Truffles sells for under $6 and comes with 6 oz of chocolate. I'm not saying it's a bad value per se or that it's a bad buy, just that you need to be aware that it's an expensive bar of chocolate that comes with very little chocolate. It's great that they're doing what they're doing, and I did enjoy my nine bites, but money is really tight right now and I would not purchase again at full price. As an additional note. My TCHO Dark Duo arrived already opened. Which isn't a huge deal, since the package is reclosable but something else you should be aware of.
