I bought this to power the LEDs on a magnifier I'd not used in a long time and had lost the power supply. It had the proper adapter plug. Turned it on, adjusted it to 5.2V and it worked perfectly. I have a workbench regulated power supply that I could have made work but this comes with adapters for the plug and is small, light, silent, and compact and works just as well. This is well made and feels solid in use. Things to be aware of. Check the voltage and polarity of the device you are going to power. If you get it wrong I don't think it will hurt the power supply but it may well fry the device you are trying to power. It will not adjust below 3.2 V. It takes several seconds to turn on and turn off so just wait for it. The adjustment knob is very sensitive. It is possible to adjust in 0.01 V increments, but you need a very gentle touch to do it. You will find that putting higher voltage into LEDs makes them brighter. That is cool except for the burning them out part so don't do that.

The adjustment of the voltage value is so easy and the digital readout reinforces what voltage you choose without the need to locate and grab a voltmeter to verify the voltage. It's very accurate and comes in many different current ratings/values. The cord length is very sufficient for most all uses, and the number of adapters means that it will work with almost any device you need it to work with. My particular use for this device was to power up an Amazon Echo Show device and it works perfectly. The only caution is to place the device where cords or other things won't contact the thumb wheel that adjust the voltage value. Having an adjustment though means that, along with the many style of adapters, you have many different uses for the one AC/DC adapter. One other nice thing about using this over the adapter or wall adapter that comes with or replaces many of the factory ones is that it allows you to plug it in most places, even tight spaces where space is limited.

Package didn't include a 19 volt blur tip plug. This was the first one I was going to use. Somewhat disappointed. Other than that the unit seems to be working fine.

I was so happy that one of the 14 tips provided perfectly fits the device whose original power supply stopped working. It was so easy to turn the dial to the voltage needed, and as soon as I turned on the device it worked! Until then, the power light was faint and blinking; now it is solid and strong and I am again able to use my device.

The product is very versatile. I have tried several of the adaptor pieces and used on a variety of electronic devices. It works on my old Sega Genesis 32X, it works on my laptop, it works on a portable work light, I've even used it on my cellphone. The adjustable dial to set the voltage is very accurate. I am an electrician and I used my meter to check the voltage output with the voltage on the unit and it is accurate within .1 volts Definitely recommend this product for all of your power adapter needs. Easy to use. A great value!

I really like the adjustable voltage.. seems heavy duty built. Many tips for adapting. Worked well first time. I took plenty of photos so people get the idea of the size. Minimum voltage 3.22v to max of 24.1v, 6 amp max.
