My un-Orthodox use for fishing.,.......yes fishing
Bare with me, I bought this for an un-orthdox use, I have a 6 year old son whom I wish to take fishing in the Bay/Ocean as I did with my dad at that age. I have expensive rods and reels, I debated long and hard how to secure rod in case he hooked into something big so my rod doesn't get pulled into water or my kid who instinctively would release the rod in the water. I researched a bunch of LAME rod leashes which gave no rating as to strength or hooked onto fisherman only, This doesn't assure me won't break since no breaking strength listed, and doesn't solve issue of kid getting pulled in. SO .......this dog leash handles up to 44 lb dog my reel drags max out at 39 lbs. Attach handle part to Mooring bracket on my boat attach metal clip and shock strap which normally attaches to dog collar wrapped around my rod and reel connection. kid has 16 feet to walk around my boat, even if rod gets yanked out of his hands or drops it in water, I have a way to retrieve my rod rinse in fresh water and back in business. and Kid and me get to enjoy time together.

5m is not as far as i thought but its good but make sure you know how much your dog will be when hes older so u get one for that weight so it lasts you till then for example my dog is 4kg now but when fully grown will be 15kg so i got this as it supports 20kg and if its ur first time using it get used to it first at home with ur dog
