Update 4/21/18So 4 days after posting this review I received in the mail an unexpected package containing the shallow 10/20 bootstrap farmer trays without holes that I said i could not find in my review along with a hand written note from the owner. This note expressed his apologies for the broken trays and they realize that this has been an issue and are working on a way to remedy this shipping issue. I will say that being an entrepreneur myself, sometimes things just don't work out like you want them to and all you can do is work on it. One of my life pillars is, always do what is right, no matter the cost. I am glad to see that bootstrap farmer feels the same way. I have raised my rating from 4 stars to 5 because of the excellent customer service provided. Even before the note and product sent I would have continued to solely do business with them as their product is simply the best and by a long shot at that. You will use their products 5 times as long as you use the next best competitor and while the cost of Bootstrap Farmer products is a little higher it far outweighs the cost associated with the longevity of their product. If you can afford to front the cost for these trays, you will reap the benefits of a superior product for years to come and an overall savings of time and money of having to replace the cheaper trays. When you are dealing with large quantities of seedlings i cannot tell you how frustrating it is has to have cheap leaking trays or dropping whole flats of product because they break of simply having to re-order trays all the time. Thank you Bootstrap Farmer!4/17/18Don't get me wrong I buy all of my trays/flats from bootstrap farmer... except shallow 10/20 trays without holes which for some reason they don't carry... anyway love the quality product. So when I need plug trays for my lettuce starts of course I ordered the 200 count flats. Love em they are way sturdier than other trays... the flaw is that they mashed them together so tightly when stacking/shipping them that I broke two out of the ten trays and spent 20 minutes just trying to carefully pry them apart. Honestly I grow tens of thousands of starts every year. I want to buy more if these as this was my test to see if I like them. Honestly I am afraid to order a couple hundred of these and loose 20% of them and spend hours just trying to take them apart especially at this price. Love the products but hopefully I am just one of those random cases. Could not find a way to contact the seller either and I didn't want to return the whole pack of ten for just the 2 broken. I got lettuce to plant! Anyway again love the products but kind of frustrating scenario here.

I got the bundle with heavy duty trays, heavy duty humidity domes, and 200 cell seedling flats. Yeah, BSF is more expensive than other options but you do get what you pay for here. The humidity domes are so sturdy I have a flat of seedlings stacked on top of one to bring them closer to a grow light! I have a few outside for winter sowing and have rocks on top of them to keep them from blowing off in the wind. You simply cannot do that with other humidity domes. The trays are super sturdy too. They will not buckle like common trays do. I garden for enjoyment and these products have definitely increased my enjoyment. I feel thankful I’m able to splurge on great products like these. I was trying to find another type of tray but what I found was totally out of my price range. I settled for these trays hoping that they would at least be able to stand up to multiple plantings without breaking. What I got was exactly what I hoped for. They will indeed last several years and many plantings. The long tapered shape will be awesome for root development. I'll be starting brassicas in them today. THANK YOU!

This was exactly what I was expecting. A Durable seed starter. Since I grow a lot it's nice to be able to grow everything I need in one tray, while have additional trays for friends. I pass on most of the seeds I start, so space is never really an issue after the first transplant. With my lighting, 5 was the perfect amount to fit on the shelving unit I have. These are great for professional growers or those folks who start everything they can from seed. Fair warning, these are smaller cells than the average you might buy in your home improvement store, but the overall tray is average sized. Be prepared to have to transplant RIGHT AFTER "true leaves" emerge.

Being a horticulture nerd and gardening fanatic I have blown through dozens of 1020 trays and seed trays, sometimes in the time span of a single season. I finally got fed up and decided to invest in a set of trays that wouldn't break on me after 3 uses. Although these are still brand new, I'm quite happy with how they have been so far. These are exceptionally more durable than the cheap ones I've bought in the horticulture stores. The program I took in college didn't have as nice of trays as these. If they last me the season they'll have more than paid for themselves, and I'm quite confident they'll last me longer than that. These are quality material and I'm so far confident these will be worth the price in the long run.

I am happy to report my shipment of Bootstrap Farmer 5 Pack of 200 Cell w/1020 trays arrived in perfect condition. Was a little worried with a few of the reviews, but, I had nothing to worry about. The shipment was double boxed and in great shape. the shipment got delayed a couple of days, but, just received it today in time for my basil and beet starts.No broken parts. 5 perfect 200 Cell trays and 5 perfect 1020 trays.Bootstrap Farmer is the best!

I have started everything from spinach to pumpkins in these cells, and I love them. They do put off a strong plastic oder, but they serve their purpose incredibly well. I love the drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, but since they are all the same diameter, I can use a nail to pop all of the starts out. Awesome product, I just ordered 10 more of these. Love bootstrap!

Set of two 200 cell prop trays with domes---The propagation tray and 1020 tray are built solid. I have the 6 pack of their 1020 trays and they are indeed the last trays i will probably ever buy. The domes are not as strong as I would expect. They are thin wobbly plastic and feel cheap. They don't seem like they would survive a fall. Time will tell. Wish they sold them in single sets since i really didn't need two. The 200 cells (that fit 1020 trays) are a bit hard to find.

Very sturdy as mentioned. Overall good product.
