I purchased these to replace some incandescent bulbs in my kitchen. I already have them in almost every room of my house and they last for years. I'm still using the original Hue bulbs I purchased in 2009. Yes they are more expensive than competitors, but you truly get what you pay for, so to me the additional cost is well worth it. They are responsive, easy to set up, and work every time.

Another great bulb from hue. Vivid colors and great brightness. My wife loved these also. We used them in the entryway of the house and having the entrance green for Halloween was quite a treat for the kids when they peered at the glow from the window and commented on how spooky it looked.

Works great, definitely worth it to get especially on a rare sale. App can be a *little* slow to connect (idk if it's quicker if you have a Bridge) but the ability to control the color as well as the brightness has been something I've loved since it came out.

Works like expected. Colors are nice. More pastel colors but these work great for my outdoor lights out back. Signal strength has not been an issue even for the distance one is from the hub and router. Now Hue is NOT CHEAP in PRICE or QUALITY. These will be your higer end lights on the market and the cost reflects that as well as the feel, weight, quality of the Hue lights, pick up any other brand (i have other brands) in your hand and compare. These have way better range also over the others I have tried.

Easy install to work with Alexa

I have Hue bulbs throughout my house and I couldn’t be happier with them. These white ambience lights are great for using in my existing highhats. They give off plenty of light and Philips has tons of light recipes to choose from in their app so you can set the mood according to how you feel. You can also create your own light setting. These light will work with Bluetooth or for a full slate of settings you can connect them with the Hue bridge. If you are going to use more than 10 lights then you must use the bridge. I love these lights and highly recommend them. They aren’t cheap but they are worth it especially if you are just starting out with smart lighting as no other company offers you the quality and variety of lights that Philips does. If you use Apple HomeKit these work great. They also connect to Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. I personally prefer the security and the user interface of Apple but I have tried it with Alexa as well and was happy with the results. You can’t go wrong with these lights.

Pratique pour contrôler l'éclairage à distance: allumer, éteindre et contrôler l'intensité. On dit à google (verbalement ou par l'application) ce que l'on veut faire et le tour est joué! Nous on a choisit les Philips car on sait que la qualité est là.

I connected Bluetooth first in iOS app and did firmware update - not sure if was necessary. Was easy to add to zigbee2mqtt and can control in home assistant fine. I am using a Sonoff 3.0 P dongle for coordinator.

Expensive but great product
