LifeStraw Peak Series - Collapsible Squeeze Bottle Water Filter System – 1L for Trail Running, Through Hiking, Travel, Cycling, and Fishing, Dark Mountain Gray

Used a few times and so far so good, filled up at few water sources with no ill effects nice and portable. I like the fact you can attach directly to a normal soft drinks bottle. Cleaning isn't too bad, long term storage is a bit challenging requiring to be stored wet. It's great quality though and worth while investment if your a hike or a camper.

I can't praise this product enough, I've been using now for a few years and it has been everywhere with me, complete off grip hiking and multiple nights away this is a dream to have, waters good to go on the move, it's small, light weight and durability is spot on. I have drunk water from all kinds of sources with this filter and it's amazing, if you maintain it as instructed it lasts a long time too, I rarely go off the beaten track without it.

Bottle is good quality and holds a good amount of water. Looks stylish and easy to drink from. Got this on prime day so only paid £40 which is good value for the bottle. Not used abroad yet so will update once I have.

Simple to use as a filter & drinking vessel. Only used from mountain springs & stream but tastes fine & I'm still alive!

They've definately fixed the flow rate. The blue one looks nicer than the black but thats purely a personal thing. This is my third bottle skin. The first burst. I lost my second one getting somebody out of an emergency in a forest. Hence buying the third one. I prefer this make over other brands because its not see through. Water in scotland can be peaty and its better to not see the colour. The carry clip loop is too small for my carrebeana but the skin is a nice size in my flask holder in my bag. And it just fits nicer in awkward spaces than a solid flask does. The thing I would warn anybody about is lifestraw themselves are impossible to contact. I fought for a while to try and get my burst one replaced for free and i was constant ignored. But when i only asked about how to use the pump i got a quick reply. Its annoying you can only buy replacement filters and not replacement skins because by heaven I tried!

Does what it says, used it in the Lake District and didn’t get ill and will be using it again. Water flow rate is slow but that’s what I would expect - I would rather spend 1 more minute filtering into a water bottle then getting ill for 1 week.

After using this only 4 times the membrane blocked up. I have back flushed it several times, despite that the membrane still gets blocked up. Now the bottle is useless.

Not been poisoned yet so must work well :-)

I highly recommend this! I purchased it for an overseas mission trip to Africa. It folds up & packs well for travel. I used it in very rural villages where bagged water was all that was available. Before my trip I was cautioned against drinking bagged water, so I bought this in preparation. It comes with instructions for usage & long term storage. It also comes with a syringe for backwashing the filter in case it gets clogged & sluggish. I currently have mine with a salt solution for long term storage. It helps the filter not dry out & it’s explained in the included instructions how to do this. It’s foldable, but the material is very sturdy. When I had it full & was drinking, I squeezed it fairly hard & threw it in my backpack many times. It remained sound. I also love that each purchase provides clean drinking water to very deserving people. I witnessed true poverty during this trip to a 3rd world country, & everyone deserves clean drinking water.

Skickades tillbaks då den var trasig vid leverans. Det märktes att paketet var öppnat innan jag fick det. och korken måste ha varit åtdragen för hårt för gängorna hade spräckt plasten vid flaskhalsen. Att den dessutom var tidigare använd och inte ny i förpackning gjorde mig besviken.
