Great quality and so many extra little features that I haven't even used all of them. The tab to keep it from swinging is the best feature and really helpful. It matches me machinist square so I can trust it's square.

This worked nicely when my husband laid PVC throughout my mother's cottage. This, a measuring tape and a good table saw (which he did NOT have) were key.

Good color, quality, squareness, durability, and readability.

Build quality is great. Love the sliding tab to keep it in your workpiece and the scribing lines are great but it's not square! The one and only thing this tool NEEDS TO DO properly, it doesn't. A .35mm feeler gauge fits in the gap at the top that's ridiculous. I have setup an exchange and return of this one with Amazon. If next one is square I'll update this review with a 5 star review. New one just needs to be square and it's perfect! EDIT: New one arrived and is square as can be! Now I'm a very happy woodworker. Now to get the 24in Woodpeckers T-Square!

Most levels are not level so one must be suspicious about the squareness of squares as well. This sort is harder to verify than a standard square because of the thickness of the stock. The edge against which to test it must be at least twice as long as the stock (by reversing it at a line drawn at about midpoint), but also very flat depthwise as well as extremely straight. A bump the size of a germ is enough to deflect it into either indicating unsquareness when in fact it is square, or the reverse. An alternative way is to dock it to a trustworthy square. This square passed. But just as importantly for me in this instance for a particular layout procedure was its length. I was already prepped for diappointment, having returned a similar square from another vendor because of length flippancy. Imagine my shock when I found it out to be exactly 12". Not a nominal 12", not a good-enough-for-the-girls-we-go-with 12", but an authentic 12". Sure it's got frills like hang-holes and a scribing pin, but these count for nothing unless 12" means 12" and square means square.

I am a diy and found this combo to be useful and decently prices. It's made of aluminum, which made it lightweight and durable. Thr white font with red background makes thr marking easier to read. Holes in the square is a good way to measure hole size. The scribble pin is handy if you forgot pencil, it's safely secure like a screw. A must have product for any woodworker or diyer
