Absolutely awesome, the right tools the right battery at the right price. Simple to follow instructions even though this was my second battery replacement, these include tools and instructions would have been very helpful on the first battery swap. Basically $30 to revive a speaker that cost $300 to replace…NO BRAINER!!

I replaced the original, damaged battery in my dad’s JBL Extreme speaker with a new one. He loves listening to music frequently, so I wanted to make sure he had a reliable speaker. The installation process with a new battery was very easy, and it has lasted much longer than the old one, which abruptly shut down after less than 10 seconds. My dad is super happy and can finally enjoy listening to music on his speaker without shutting down itself!

My JBL Xtreme’s battery was petering out ond would only go an hour and a half with full charge before quitting. It was clear to me that the battery had significantly degraded. I like this speaker and wanted to keep it so I started looking for a quality battery to replace the original. There are many options but I landed on this one. The install took me over an hour. Many screws to remove and the instructions, although very helpful did not seem to be in correct order. You’ll have to use a bit of common sense. That said I got the new battery installed using the supplied tools and all is great. I’ve been playing my speaker for 5 hours and all the charge indicator lights are on. So far very pleased. I have no idea how long or how many charge/discharge cycles this rechargeable battery will last but if the results are less than stellar I will update this review. If you never hear from me again, it’s still 5 stars all the way.

Easy to install. Speaker works great after being down for 2 years.

Easy to install and brought new life to my aging JBL extreme. The battery lasts a long time. I keep my JBL extreme in my side by side and use it all the time , so far only had to charge it once. Great way to bring your old JBL extreme back to greatness.

Very clear and easy instructions, Included tools are of decent quality and made it easy to replace the battery. New battery fits perfect and connects as expected. Very Impressed by the value for the money.

Great and comes with everything you need, even instructions that are better than the ones on iFixit. It's cheap and fixed the battery life issues. No complaints. If you need this, this one works perfectly.
