PhyinLan 19" Rack Mount Kit for Cisco Switches
I recently snagged the PhyinLan 19" Rack Mount Kit from Amazon for our Cisco switches at the office. Thought I’d drop my two cents for anyone considering a similar setup. Here’s the lowdown: Price: Got it for just $13.99. Considering the tidy setup it’s enabled, I’d say it’s money well spent. There were a couple of other sellers, but WaveThink had the best deal. Plus, with the potential savings for business accounts, it’s a no-brainer. What You Get: The kit’s packed with everything you need - 2 rack mount ears, a bunch of screws, and cabinet kits. It’s pretty much a one-stop-shop for getting your switches rack-mounted. Compatibility: This thing’s a perfect match for a range of Cisco switches (2960-X, 2960-XR, 3650, and 3850 series). Made our setup a breeze. Just double-check your model to avoid any surprises. Installation: Super easy. I mean, if you can handle assembling IKEA furniture, this is a walk in the park. Had our switches looking neat and organized on the rack in no time. Build Quality: These rack ears are sturdy. Made of thickened metal, they can handle the weight without breaking a sweat. Plus, the installation’s solid, so no worries about anything coming loose. Real-World Use: Here’s where it shines. Our server room looks like something out of a tech magazine now. The switches are up and out of the way, and we’ve freed up so much space. Not to mention, airflow around the equipment has improved, which is always a win. Customer Service: Haven’t needed to reach out, but it’s comforting to know there’s a satisfaction guarantee. Peace of mind is always part of the purchase. Final Thoughts: If you’re in the market for a rack mount kit for your Cisco switches, I’d highly recommend this one. It’s affordable, durable, and gets the job done without any fuss.

This was the one that worked for me.
Worked great to mount some Cisco catalyst switches in a rack. I had a couple different designs I purchased because I wasn't sure what I needed. This was the one that worked.

Great option, simple packaging, but I misread the compatibility list.
I bought these to serve as another set of rack ears for my Cisco 2960G and 3560G, since one came with the originals and the other did not. I misread the product description and compatibility list, which is my fault. *** I did not realize this until AFTER I made the video I'm attaching.*** I guess the 2960X has a different mounting screw pattern on the sides than the 2960G (which shares the same pattern as the 3560G) so I made the erroneous assumption that this would still work. I was wrong. Overall seems well made, heavier than the original ears I have by comparison (and seem just as strong, if I were to assume). But again does not fit either of my 2960G or 3560G switches so I couldn't try it. This product may be great for you, but make SURE you read the compatibility list above and triple check it will work with your device's mounting pattern first, to save you the hassle. Another plus I'll mention, came in a small unassuming cardboard box, with all the hardware you'd need to rackmount a naked switch, in a couple of small plastic ziploc bags. Even came with rack screws. I appreciate simple packaging that doesn't produce excess waste, unlike most other products nowadays where companies think more shelf space == more sales. I'd keep these if I had a switch they'd fit, or if I planned to get another that they'd fit. If you're on the fence due to lack of reviews and your device is compatible, I say go for it.

Works for CBS350-24t-4x
Seems to work fine and fit well for my Cisco switch CBS350-24t-4x.

Worked but just not quite right.
Items arrived in good shape and looked good. However, fit was not perfect and the screws were significantly shorter in length than the factor provided ones resulting in a need to obtain alternative screws to get them to secure properly.

Rack mounting holes don't line up - wrong pitch
Bought these to modify with drills and grinder for an Aruba S2500 bought from eBay. After modifying side holes discovered the front mounting holes don't line up with the holes in the 19" rack. Turns out the holes were 1.125" apart instead of 1.25" - the standard pitch for a 19" rack. Rather than returning our already seriously modified rack ears, the front holes were widened so they could mount in the rack. Worked out - kind of. If you don't have the tools or inclination to widen the rack mounting holes, save yourself some trouble and get something else.
