Very useful “ear jackets” to keep water out of ears while showering when being treated for ear infection.

I got some of these to use when I got my hair permed due to having fresh piercings. They works well and protected my ears. A lot of ppl in the reviews are complaining that it still lets water in, no duh! It’s not taped to your ear or skin tight so it’s not 100% gonna be waterproof. It keeps them dryer for sure and has a layer between you and the water but no ear cover will be comalletky waterproof unless it sticks to your skin. Good product

What a waste! These don't cover the whole ear and pop off when struck by shower spray. Certainly couldn't be used in a pool. 100 useless pieces of plastic. Sorry I bought them.

These are fantastic. My partner had ear surgery and had to keep his ear dry. These were wonderful!!!!

My ENT doctor recommended these instead of the aquanot earplugs I've been using. The earplugs let a little water in, and I used a bit of hand sanitizer to try to prevent ear infections. With these covers, nothing but air goes into my ears. At first I wasn't going to use them, because too many people complained that when they faced the shower, all the water went in their ears. When I taped a lidocaine patch on my wife's leg, I got the idea of using first aid plastic tape to secure the front of the cover, and had my first shower with them this morning. It went well. I heard everything better than before, and the water on the covers wasn't terribly loud. It was a little awkward putting the covers on, but the more I do it, the better I'll get at it. Even with the tape, there was still some water in each ear cover, but as far as I could tell, no water got in my ear. And, the tape came off my skin, and the cover with no real effort. I used TP to soak up as much water from each cover as I could, and air drying should take care of the rest of the water. They come from China, and are squished all together in a flat plate, but they peel off easily. I haven't tried them for this, yet, but I used to fly light planes, and the sweat caused by my headset earmuffs would collect in my ears, and lead to an infection. I think these will work well to reduce/eliminate sweat getting in my ears, and the earmuffs should clamp them in place. I plan to restart my flying lessons soon, and will check these out when I do.

I don’t know that these would be 100% effective at preventing all water from entering the ear on their own, but they are a game-changer if you’re following the often-recommended technique of using a cotton ball with Vaseline. My ear doctor recommended that to prevent water from entering my ear when I shower, I put a cotton ball in my ear and cover it with Vaseline to create a waterproof barrier. This really works, but the Vaseline gets in my hair. Now, I use the cotton ball with Vaseline and put one of these covers over that. It prevents the Vaseline from getting in my hair and creates a very effective waterproof barrier.

I ordered these for my mother. She has very sensitive ears, was complaining that her earplugs don’t work well in the shower, a friend told me about these and my mom is very happy with them. They keep the water out of her ears and they’re comfortable to wear.
