Leaf Shave | The Twig Razor & Thorn Razor Case, Silver - Portable Aluminium and Silicone Travel Case

My wife loves this razor. I have snuck in a couple of shaves myself. Very consistent, the Leaf blades work well. You can buy a sampler pack of other blades to try as well.

Works but too much money for what you get-

The good: secures your Leaf Thorn or Twig along with some single edge blades perfectly and it closes securely and stays latched. And since it's aluminum and not paper like the original box it should hold up. The bad: out of the box the edges of the case are unfinished and rough. The would likely snag a cloth dopp kit or scratch a leather one and the hinge sticks with a slight squeak. I fixed both issues by taking a very fine grit sanding sponge to the edges of the case and a little WD-40 on the hinge -- took me 5 minutes tops but for it seems like one shouldn't have to do this. The ugly: none - this is actually a really nice looking case and being that it's aluminum I assume it will acquire some bumps and scratches but actually look great "beat up" - time will tell. Overall: I'm giving it 4 stars and keeping it (I like the brand and the design concept) but I think LEAF could finish these a little more before shipping them out. Also, I had this in my cart for a while but never picked it up because it felt like $25 (at time of purchase/review) was a bit much. When I saw Amazon was offering 20% off the item I finally grabbed it; otherwise I would have continued to use the box it came in for travel.

Cheap is best means of expression. Was a very low grade made product.
