Does the software run on CentOS8?

Is the Logic Pro 8 capable of reading automotive ignition coil secondary voltage directly or does it require adapters?

The Logic Pro 8 can handle up to +/-25V max at the input. More information on this limitation can be found below: https://support.saleae.com/user-guide/safety-and-warranty I suspect the voltage on your secondary coil would be in the kV range, so an adapter that can limit the voltage to +/-25V would be required to avoid damage.

Does the device implement scpi commands?

No, our logic analyzers do not support scpi commands. However it's possible to automate the device in a similar fashion using our Automation API. More info: https://support.saleae.com/saleae-api-and-sdk/socket-api

Are there sampling limitations based on computer and USB 2.0?
