This was just what we needed to transform our church’s air hockey table into glow air hockey! These are BRIGHT and cover a LOT of area. Color accents anything neon, but they do run a little hot after being on for more than a few hours. So I recommend turning them off and letting them cool for a few before touching them directly. The bracket is decent quality, but it tilts them at an angle just fine. Buy these ASAP. They’ll be great for harvest fest and Halloween church events. Can’t wait to use them again!!

This thing puts out some serious rays. It's very very cost efficient the black light itself puts off a huge cast which makes it fun to have people over for a party the build quality is a bit lacking and it gets very hot because it's very lightweight. No matter what though when you plug this thing in it's going to be fun.

I use this for scale model hobbies and the large, strong lighting works very well. Does produce a fair amount of heat.

I RARELY return things to Amazon. Got these in, and 20 minutes later I boxed them up and sent them back. Here's Why: First off there is no grounding prong on the plug, which on most things with metal housing construction and "stage" style lighting mounts would be a given. You don't want some random circuit card shorting to a metal chassis and giving you the ol' spicy wakeup. I could overlook this if it were using AC to low voltage DC with a power brick, but this is 120V right into the body of the lamp with the AC to DC conversion happening inside the chassis. Not a good sign. "Efficient Heat Dissapation" is a single piece of bent 20ga sheet metal, I didn't think to hit it with a magnet, but I assume it's aluminum but might be stamped steel. Within 30 seconds it was too hot to hold with my hand so I unplugged it, sat it facedown on a steel colander to keep it semi isolated from my desk, and turned it back on. This was in a 65F/18.3C room in the open air out of direct sunlight, and within 3 minutes the back of the housing was 155F/68.3C in most places and in some spots was over 175F/80C (see attached picture). The highest I measured was 185F/82C, but didn't manage to snap a pic. This wasn't a fluke, I was stunned, so I took the other one out of the box and got the exact same range of temperatures. These lights are straight dangerous to have around anything you care about, and would absolutely cause bad burns to children or pets, not to mention the fire danger if they fell onto anything mildly flammable. Remember, it takes 150-155F to cook a steak to medium well, and this lamp is 20-30F+ warmer than THAT. I'd stay away from this lamp and any that you come across with the same housing design.

We use these in our garage for a fashion show birthday party! The kids loved it! They worked great!

False advertising, they are NOT water resistant or designed for outdoor use as the ad shows in the pics!! I used these on the hood of my aquarium which worked great for glo-fish, but although they were never submerged, moisture still accumulated inside and burnt them out within months! Plus the screws that fasten the lenses all rusted out right away. Dont waste your money unless they will always be dry and indoors. Caution, they do get extremely hot however for indoor use. But dont use them outdoors either lol.

Great set of lights for the price . I originally purchased a different brand and they were piping hot as soon as I plugged them in. These lights were hot but not to the point where I felt uncomfortable leaving them on for a few hours. We used them for a glow in the dark birthday party and they worked exceptionally well. Highly recommend.

This product gets extremely hot within minutes of plugging it in. There is no outside casing. This is not a safe product and should never be allowed to be sold this way.
