Love these drills. I had one for about 6 years and needed a replacement. I have all of the attachments. This thing is really powerful and handles any job. The older drill still works but I just wanted a new one for backup.

I had a previous B&D drill-driver, same model i purchased 20 years ago and was starting to quit on me, wasn't sure if it was the drill or battery. Turned out to be the battery so I have two drill-drivers which should last me another 20 years hopefully.

Removal of accessories is difficult. The attachment is held in by a spring. The release button spreads the spring but it needs a hard pull to detach the accessory. Instruction simply say, “press the release button and remove the accessory” what an understatement. I sent the first one back, thinking it was defective. The replacement was the same, but I learned that with enough muscle it can be done. Hopefully it will become easier with use.

I am in love with this tool! I look forward to obtaining the other adapters! I use it for everything I can. I’m a Black and Decker girl!

I purchased one of these because I had one for 10 years that finally stopped working after all the abuse I put it through. I have pretty much every 20v tool Black & Decker puts out. The first one I ordered had a bad battery. I reached out to support and they wanted me to take a bunch of pictures and send them back. I figured it would be easier to just return it and get a replacement. The return gave me 2 options. One was to drop it off at a UPS store and the other was a UPS pickup for $7. (Keep in mind the product is defective, it's no fault of my own!) I chose the drop off, but that wants me to print a label and bring it in which is a real pain. Not sure why they couldn't just provide the code to have UPS scan it, but ok. I have to drive 30 minutes to drop it off but was headed that way anyway. I got the replacement the next day and again the battery is no good. It just flashes red rapidly. I even tried the battery on one of my other chargers with no luck, but my other batteries charge on the new charger. I needed the tool today, so I'll be heading out to buy another brand. Very disappointing.

I got this to replace my decade old craftsman bolt on power head. It finally burned out last year after many years of faithful service. This replaced that unit. I didn't want to give up all the tools I had accumulated over the years from the bolt on. This has taken every task in stride. Great replacement, hope it lasts as long as the original.
