Looooovvvvvveeeeeee this product so much. Smells amazing! Makes my hair extremely soft but also has a great hold. Moisturizing and great quality. Thick and creamy but not too thick. My hair stays hydrated and it holds my twist out very well. I will be using this his product to restart my Locs as well as to retwist them once I do. Hair has been healthy and continues to grow in length as well as thickness.

Pattern products are simply THAT GIRL. I try to catch sales but honestly, they’re worth every penny sis! This styling cream works great on my 3c curls and GREAT on my daughter’s 4a curls. A little also goes a long way (12+ day wash n go) so since it is quality product, it lasts longer and I believe is worth the cost.

As a 44-year-old with curly hair, I've tried countless hair products over the years, but I can confidently say that Pattern is by far the best. The definition I get in my curls is incredible—my hair looks beautiful without that annoying crunchy feeling often associated with other styling products. One of the standout features of Pattern is the variety of products available. Whether I want to leave my curls down for a natural look or style them into a sleek ponytail, there's something for every mood. The most surprising and impressive aspect has been how my hair feels on wash days. Unlike other products I've used, my hair doesn’t tangle or feel stiff; it remains soft and manageable. I initially purchased travel sizes to test them out, and I was so pleased that I just bought the regular-sized styling cream and mousse—these are definitely my favorites! If you're looking for a reliable line of products that truly caters to curly hair, I highly recommend giving Pattern a try. You won't be disappointed!

This is a great styling cream but it is very very thick and almost was like a firm gel what we got. Hard to manage unless your hair is wet to style then dry it.it is a very small jar for the price so if you have a lot of hair you may want to shop around.

I have 2C/3A hair, so this isn't specifically targeted for my hair type, but my hair is extremely thick, and I've always struggled with maintaining it. I do not like rewetting it and brushing it every day, and this is the only product that keeps my hair frizz-free and hydrated for days. I've rebought this three times over about 1.5 years, so I would say it lasts pretty long for the amount of hair I have (I use about 2/3 pumps for 1/4th of my hair). It's the only product I've used that keeps my hair defined while also making it very moisturized. The scent is subtle and fresh, and the consistency is like any other thicker cream. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with oily hair, as it's extremely hydrating and keeps my hair super soft, even when I have gel in it. I never review anything, but I felt like I needed to review this because I feel like I've tried every product under the sun that don't work for my hair that is inbetween traditional hair types and nothing has compared to this one. I just have to use this and gel when styling and that's it--no more mousse, leave-in conditioners, oils, etc. I've been using it consistently and for a long time that the strands of hair that have tended to be straight from tension are curling again! If there was one product I would recommend for anyone with wavy/curly/coily hair (especially thick hair!) it would be this one.

Y’all I tried it today, and so far I’m loving it!!! It smells really good, my curls have never been so defined. I just washed my hair, conditioned it and applied it as a wash and go, and twisted my hair just a little(I’m no professional at doing natural hair, but I try!!). The curls are soft, the hold is good, it’s made from good quality ingredients, and makes my hair look so shiny and healthy. I have the shampoo, conditioner and curl gel in my cart as I’m writing this review.

I purchased this with low expectations being that my daughter and I have natural 4c hair that we jokingly refer to as “can’t cha, don’t cha” hair—can’t you comb it & don’t you try. While it’s not true that we can’t comb our hair, it’s so thick & long that friends & family are amazed by the texture & products we use. Cost - I believe that you get what you pay for, so I didn’t let cost sway me away. Being that the results weren’t great, I don’t think the price point is correct. They should lower the cost or improve the formula. Moisture - the product isn’t a complete fail. It has a nice scent which is always a plus in a hair product. I used a lot of the product to actually moisturize my hair, and that was short lived. The product is creamy in my palm but sticky in my hair. The moisture didn’t last & my hair looked very dry shortly after application. The same was true for my daughter’s hair. I really wanted this to work, but it doesn’t seem so. I want to try Tracee other products before giving up, but I currently get better results from other products so can’t move to this on.
