I purchased this mat because I was looking for something that could help keep my pool deck less slippery. I have a coating on there which can make it slick at times. I bought this mat to keep my pool deck from getting slippery. I have a coating on my deck that makes it slippery sometimes. This mat was exactly what I needed. It's long and wide enough to cover a high traffic area. The holes let the water drain and keep it from sitting. I like the material, it's sturdy and so far it's held up in 90 degree weather. Mat doesn't get too hot. I like the feel, but it could be a little softer. But it doesn't hurt. Consider this mat if you’re looking for traction and reducing water on your deck. I have no doubt this is as good as any other 'pool' mat.

We are using this on our outdoor travertine deck. The travertine gets EXTREMELY hot in the summer from the brutal Arizona sun so we thought to cover it with this product. Water from the pool drains away through the mesh and the plastic does not get so hot as you can't walk on it. Paw approved from our pack of pups.

Purchased to use in kitchen area of travel trailer. Edges started to come apart after 4 weeks of use.

This product worked well for a year but didnt hold up after 1 year in the brutal Arizona sun

This map is not as advertised. It’s relatively thin and very easy to rip if you stand on it and your feet move in different directions you’ll literally rip a hole right into it. Should be thicker and heavier definitely not heavy duty. This is something you might wanna maybe put on the bottom of a cabinet or something like that, but I would not recommend it as a floor mat of any kind that you would need to depend on for anti-slipping, especially if you have heavy traffic. Thank God for Amazon I sent it back
