Hi-Liter Pen-Style Highlighters, Smear Safe Ink, Chisel Tip, 6 Assorted Color Highlighters (23585)

Great school items there wasn’t a lot, but I still love that. I didn’t get three of the same colors that was very fun so far it’s adorable. Weren’t the price and it works well for my son’s homework.

These Avery Hi-Liter pen-style highlighters are a new favorite for notes and planning. The pen-style tip makes it really easy to highlight neatly—no chunky lines, and it’s great for underlining or marking smaller text in textbooks and printed pages. The biggest reason I’m impressed is the smear-safe ink. I use them with gel pens and standard ink pens, and they don’t drag or smudge nearly as much as other highlighters I’ve tried (especially if you give the ink a second to dry). The color is bright but not so neon that it hurts your eyes, and it doesn’t bleed through most paper. Great for school, work, or journaling—clean lines, reliable ink flow, and they last. Would definitely repurchase.

It’s a must have for school. I like that it comes with multi colored. These highlighter last long and doesn’t leak.

it's cheap and it works

I have been using these highlighters for about a week. I got irritated when it smeared my handwritten notes badly, inspiring me to write a review. I tested out all the different colors, and would you believe it, no smear. I re-highlighted my hand written notes on my book (since maybe the type of paper plays a role) and there was also no smearing. I have found that with a ball point pen, if the ink is left to dry, then the highlighter ink will not smear. If you highlight right away, then it will smear. Previously, I was using the fancy Sharpie brand. I took one of them with me on the airplane and it BLED ALL OVER when I opened the cap. In comparison, these highlighters are cheaper and less likely to bleed when you open the cap. Not SUPER vibrant, but it's vibrant enough for $4. *******UPDATE ( see third picture) I've been continually using these high lighters now for a few months. I think the purple and blue is too dark. My one and only ball point pen died on me yesterday, so I went and got new pens today and the high lighter looks pretty good on it compared to the other high lighters I picked up at Michael's Arts and Crafts Store...since Amazon's shipping is taking 5 days, I had to go to the store and pick up a pen. In tested Avery Hi-Liter, Crayola Take Note!, Pilot FriXion light, and Zebra Mildliner, mild ink. In short, I liked the Avery one the best. The others had dull colors or smeared. I might try Pilot or Zebra again with brighter colors. In fairness, I am comparing pastels to neons. But at least it makes me appreciate the Avery Hi-Liter more.

These highlights come in a variety of colors and sizes . They feel and look great.

Instead of pens I take notes for my classes in highlighter. This helps deflect attention from people that try to copy my notes in class. Occasionally I use them to color my teeth.

I bought this for my 14 year-old nieces school supplies requirements. They are easy to use their good quality. They function like they’re supposed to perfect size. It’s a good quality for your money. They’re durable. Nice thickness would buy again highly recommend.

Super nice

Product arrived and the packaging literally fell apart. The markers themselves often “skip” on the page making for uneven and inconsistent lines, and yet when they do work they bleed through the paper. Bought these because I needed a pack with purple, but am sorely regretting throwing out my old ones.
