I have 2 cats and a parakeet. As pet owners know strong scents of any kind are not good for their respiratory systems especially birds. This product cleans my floors well and very very faint smell that is not bothersome to me or my pets. It’s lasted 6 months. Am purchasing again

Other products like Swiffer chemicals & some supposedly safe/natural liquids have left mottled looking (yeah someone put black marble in the kitchen, what the flip for?) tiles and there was a weird film that stuck to my bare feet and made my [evil other half's] work boots make a slight sucking noise when he clomped in through the kitchen. GROSS. But if I do the swipe test after using THIS floor wash, I don't EVER have dirty cloths. No scary chemicals. And some of the eco-washes all claim safety but are laden with essential oils that are toxic to pets, esp. cats. I would do anything to keep them safe. You bet I RINSE after this, thoroughly. It's got some citrus in it, and that's not good for pets. I don't take chances. If the floor isn't clean enough for ME to lick up an ice cream puddle or to eat directly off the floor like I didn't own plates, then I keep rinsing. I'm not a crazy person, I'm just so over stepping on sticky and slimy stuff. And my [not very helpful human male] doesn't rinse anything, so the bagel I once set down on the counter tasted like a spray cleaner he used, that one time he cleaned this year. That taste lingered for 3 days, in my throat. Yeah so I do use this on the counter now, too, but rinse everything after. I have used this a few times on the hardwood floors. Normally I shoot for water-only pretty often, esp in winter when there is salt and sand. I have areas of worn floor without the polyurethane protecting it, so I read that vinegar makes it worse, but so far I haven't had that issue. I work in sections, because I do rinse everything, and because nobody seems to let me work in peace. The floors dry quickly and the wood never looks dull from the cleaner, and I did the swipe test with the clean white rag, and this cleaner passed the test on unsealed/worn areas and the regular sealed ones. I don't use this in the bathroom for the Big Clean. I call in a hazmat team and the Center for Disease Control for that room. Sorry, Eco-Me, I have to use something else with a scrub brush first, and after that gets rinsed about 3x, I *could* clean with Eco-Me. I don't. I collapse in exhaustion. I use Eco-Me between those events though. Sorry for the lengthy review.

My partner and I just got 2 corgis so I was looking to find a floor cleaner that was safer for them. This stuff is awesome. Only used two cap fulls of in the water bucket and it's perfect. Floor really feels clean and no intense smell. Definitely worth the price!

A bunch have said this smells like vinegar. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I can't smell anything. Which is exactly what I'm looking for. Others have said there's a sticky residue. Hey. Folks. Try using less. The instructions call for 1/4 cup per gallon. Cut that in half or more. I used a capful per gallon or two. Works just fine. No smell. No sticky. Me happy.
