Hromee Lock On Air Chuck for Large Bore Valve, Heavy Duty Closed Flow Tire Chuck, 1/4" FNPT for Tire Inflator and 12V1 Stem Quick Connector

This is the third locking tire chuck I have purchased. The first two were nearly impossible to lock on the valve stem an maintain (or even get) an air tight seal. This Hromee product works perfectly! Push it on and the locking sleeve engages 3 latch hooks in the threads of the Schreader valve pulling it in and securely holding in place, maintaining the air tight seal. It does suffer the problem as all others when trying to inflate a tubed tire.: it pushes the inner tube stem inside the tire. The only solution is to use a pair of long-nosed pliers to hold the stem in place while sealing & locking. However, this Hromee tire chuck does not let go, maintaining the seal. Once locked it’s difficult to even pull off. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a locking tire air chuck.

Works great, locks onto the stem. Longevity has yet to be seen since I do not use it often but works great on large loader valve stems.

I went through two other brands before seeing the Hromee Air Chucks begging used by another Jeeper. Perfect fit no leaks.

It's a lot easier to use than the traditional tire filling valve. When you only have one hand to use. Fits good and tight. No leakage. Under $10 well worth it.

When I received this item it was in good packaging and made of good material. Before you order it check your valve stems on your tires, the reason I say this is because on my rims I have the type of valve stems that are metal they use a bolt to secure them to the rim. When you put the connector on it will not seal tightly for what ever reason it leaks air, I guess it will work if you have rubber valve stems,

I got tired of having to hold my old, broken chucks onto the tire stem at awkward angels and opted to pony the extra bucks for this chuck when I bought a new inflator. So far, so good. It takes a bit of getting used to, though. Sometimes it seems to be firmly in place but is not and other times it seems not to be connected at all but holds firm... Either way, much better than the big box checks which ALWAYS break.
