Very flexible and inexpensive flash light
If you use Ryobi tools and have their batteries, this is a very effective and inexpensive light. It uses an LED bulb and puts out a decent amount of light for most work. I have three of them, one in each vehicle and one in the home. The head swivels up and down and the weight of even the 2AH battery allows you to sit it on the floor and aim at what you are wanting to light up. With 4AH battery, it appears that the light would last nearly eight hours based on it using about 50% of the battery life in a 4 hour power outage. The light is sturdy and well made.

Quality construction - the trigger is not the On/Off
Appears to be excellent, quality construction with a nice bright LED light. Worked fine with my 18V Ryobi batteries. The head rotates 360 degrees and pivots up and down which which makes it really useful as a work light to focus the light exactly where required. The only complaint I have is that the use of the On/Off switch isn't intuitive. The older Ryobi 18V flashlights had what looked like a trigger to turn On/Off and worked like a trigger. This light has what looks like a trigger to turn On/Off but it isn't a trigger. At first I thought the light was broke because what I thought was a trigger wouldn't move. What looks like a trigger is covered with black silicone and in the center of this faux trigger under the silicone is a push button. Push once to turn ON then again to turn off. Once you realize where the button is the On/Off function is easy to use. The flashlight that I ordered came in an envelope without any instructions or box that could have explained the pseud trigger function.

Great Light
I've had many flashlights in my time and I can say with confidence that I'm impressed with the brightness of this flashlight and the build quality. Simple on off operation. No high or low or strobe. Puts out a very bright focused spotlight surrounded by a nice flood light which makes it the best of both worlds. Head ratchets up and down and battery provides solid base for standing. And the grip is nice and firm. Def worth $15. This makes a perfect light to keep in basement, bedside, trunk of car because it's small and easy to handle. I also have the similar DeWalt flashlight DCL040. Both perform equally as well. Funny thing is that DeWalt's is 110 Lumens and the this Ryobi is 280, yet the brightness compared side by side is dead on equal ??? They have other Ryobi flashlights that are much more stronger, and have variable brightness levels to choose from, and good for specific purposes like hunting or scoping out things while camping, but they are very large and you simply don't need that much light most of the time.

Great light! $10 cheaper than...
Big box hardware store carries this exact same light for $30. I bought it here on Amazon and saved $10. Works great and I'm very happy with it! And I got ten extra dollars in my pocket. Win win!

Works good
It arrived with no package but it works very well! It's extremely bright and and the swivel heads works out great for any of my projects. I'm subtracting one star because of it arriving with no package no box no nothing. Shame on you Amazon!

A very portable and compact flashlight
You needed one in case of power outrage if you have RYOBI 18V batteries. The adjustable head is not only good fora flashlight but if you point it head at the ceiling, a 200 sq ft room is bright as you are using a traditional electric floor light fixture. A RYOBI small battery can last for 4 hours but the only disadvantage is you are not covered by RYOBI warranty if you are not brought from Home Depot or RYOBI authorized dealer. The sellers on Amazon only let you return it if something goes wrong within 30 days. But so far so good, none of them have issues yet.

Been expanding the Ryobi collection
I live in southeast, La so we are always dealing with hurricanes and power loss. I also use work lights and flashlights constantly for many reasons. I have what my wife calls "a flashlight addiction" In the constant search for a better light but also methods of powering them, I have come to love all Ryobi lights and lanterns. I have just about every style they make and have had no complaints about any of them. I got tired of recharging D-cell EBL batteries (which are great) and the price of D-cell disposable alkaline batteries is insane. So for that reason I started switching all my lights over Ryobi 18v One plus and couldn't be happier. I even have a small wen suitcase generator to recharge the batteries for extended periods without power for hurricanes. I have work lights, lanterns, spotlights for hunting/fishing, and flashlights. I am able to power all of them with the same one type of battery that also powers my Ryobi tools. I have converted away from regular battery lights everywhere that I could, and couldn't be happier. This particular light is plenty bright enough for regular large flashlight use. Comfortable grip with rotating head for work light use and LED for long battery life. The convenience of having all these lighting options with 1 style of battery and the cost savings of not buying D-sized disposables or the recharging and expense of D-cell rechargeable batteries has made this a no brainer.

Very bright light and seems well made. On/off trigger button is slightly hard to operate, requires quite a pull that some would find difficult. This is the only complaint, otherwise very happy with purchase. The price was right too!

Does work great despite being small! The LED light illuminates an entire room easily, and so far I don't know how long the battery should last but it still seems to be fully charged (battery not included as noted by seller). Personal note: No one really checks their flashlights regularly unless your a disaster nut, but knowing you have something that will work with your Ryobi gear, is kind of cool)
